Joe the Everyman. Or Is He?

| May 15, 2020

Former Vice President Joe “Knife Hand” Biden

Joe Biden likes to put himself out as the common man. It’s his style, the way he connects with his constituents. A gaffe machine, slightly goofy, but essentially a good guy, right? Maybe not so much.

At least he’s not a socialist.

What is he?

He is a vicious self-serving political hack, for one thing, one whose ambition leads him from time to time into shocking indecency. You may have heard that Biden lost his wife and daughter in a horrifying drunk-driving wreck, the fault of a monster of a man who irresponsibly “drank his lunch,” as Biden puts it.

Never happened.

Biden’s wife and daughter did, in fact, die in a car wreck. That is true. It is not true that the driver of the other car was drunk, that he had been drinking, or that there was any reason to believe he was drunk or had been drinking — or even that he was at fault. The late Mrs. Biden “drove into the path of [the] tractor-trailer,” the police report says. But Biden, like every other third-rate ward-heeler of his ilk, thinks and speaks only in terms of good guys and bad guys, white hats and black hats — and if something bad happens to good people, then it must be because somebody in a black hat did something nefarious. The driver of that truck went to his grave haunted by Biden’s lies, to the point where his children were forced to beg the vice president to stop defaming their late father. The casual cruelty with which Biden is willing to subordinate the lives of ordinary people to his political ambitions — for the sake of a petty tear-jerker line in one of his occasionally plagiarized stump speeches — is remarkable.

But wait, there’s more.

One of the worst features of our political life is the ugly and dishonest fights we have over Supreme Court nominations — a habit that can be laid squarely at the feet of Joe Biden, who along with Ted Kennedy, that pillar of human decency, organized one of the worst smear campaigns in modern American political history against Robert Bork, whose great crime against humanity was taking the “extremist” position that the Constitution actually says what it says rather than what anybody with power wishes it would say at any given moment. . . .

And that’s not all.

Nolte: Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Joe Biden Extend to Female Secret Service Agents

By: JOHN NOLTE

Joe Biden’s numerous sexual misconduct allegations extend to his creepy and abusive behavior in front of female Secret Service agents, reports Ron Kessler of the Washington Times.

Kessler, who wrote about the Secret Service in a book titled The First Family Detail, discovered that while former First Lady Hillary Clinton is the most reviled among Secret Service agents, former Vice President Joe Biden comes in a close second.

One of the reasons he was so disliked was his creepy habit of stripping down naked in front of female Secret Service agents to go for a swim.

“Mr. Biden’s lack of consideration was even more stunning when it came to female agents,” Kessler writes, “who were offended that the vice president bizarrely swam naked in front of them often daily at his pools at the vice president’s residence in Washington and at his home in Delaware.”

Daily.

Daily!

He put this perv show on almost every day.

While Secret Service agents have nothing but nice things to say about the Obamas and Trumps, who are consistently considerate of those protecting them, Biden was consistently thoughtless.

With just a few moments notice, Biden would decide to fly home to Delaware, disrupting any plans the agents might have had. This turned their “personal lives into nightmares.”

“It’s tough on people’s family lives and marriages,” a Secret Service agent told Kessler. “Because of the fluid schedule, we don’t have the manpower to allow any time for firearms requalification or physical fitness training.”

“Biden likes to be revered as everyday Joe, and that’s his thing,” a second agent added. “But the reality is no agents want to go on his detail because Biden makes agents’ lives so tough.”

Sounds like the Hillary Entitlement Syndrome. Read the rest here: Breitbart

LBJ was known for skinny dipping as well. As to “Hairplugs” Biden, he also charged the USSS exorbitant rent as well!

David

Not to mention holding meetings while seated on the crapper.

I remember reading years ago that Bush Sr. was loved by the SS, Bush Jr. was not a long way back, and that both Clintons were despised. I seem to recall Michelle Obama being criticized for arrogance with the SS, but a lot of folks would criticise her for breathing.

Green Thumb

I have met her when detailed out years past to a WH event.

I was a young soldier assigned menial tasks. But I did say hello Madame First Lady.

She was very cold. Did not respond to a lowly EM. Whatever.

Bill on the other hand was actually a nice enough guy. He would respond and say hello back. I have been around him on a few occasions.

Moving on…

Skyjumper

Just a bit of addition about the SS & Bush Sr.

“George H.W. Bush, whose protective call sign was “Timberwolf,” was arguably the agency’s most beloved protectee with Bush Jr., not very far behind.”

“In fact, you would be hard pressed to find a present-day Secret Service employee who does not have a personal story of the late president. But more importantly, each of these stories would share a common theme: the deep and genuine respect that the President had, not only for members of the Secret Service, but also for law enforcement more broadly.”

A Proud Infidel®™️

I’ve heard that members of the USSS consider being part of the Clintons’ detail as punishment because Hillary is so acidic and venomous.

Devtun

Ford, Reagan, and VP Cheney were reportedly held in highest esteem. Among First Ladies, Barbara & Laura Bush seemed to be at the top of the list

Yeah also, Reagan was permitted to carry a firearm – dayum!

Ex-PH2

Biden has repeatedly shown clear signs of absent-mindedness, e.g., walking off-camera while he’s talking almost to himself.

The only reason I can come up with for putting Biden up as the Dem candidate is to put Hilary in as Veep, and then wait until Biden drops dead (or is helped to it) and hey, presto! Hilary’s up where she doesn’t belong.

IF he gets elected, things won’t just go sour. When I post something about rebellion, it’s already started. There is something stirring, and it ain’t a pot of soup.

Gropey Joe, in his current mental state, is very close to Peter Sellers’ character, Chauncey Gardner, in “Being There.” Except the character in that movie didn’t have a bunch of handlers writing most of his utterances.

I can remember my ultra liberal brothers wife making fun
of Biden twenty years ago. She still voted for him though.
And her husband donates money to both candidates yet
could not be bothered to vote for anyone or any thing.

Biden has a following. It’s bizzare. He could actually win.
In this case because people don’t bother to vote.
Not voting is just like voting Democrat.

Creepy Joey and his loser son are both buttboys of Xi. We are talking chicom collusion of the most intimate variety…

One has to wonder how many “happy endings” the two of them received when they were in the land of Xi.

Joe Biden is the epitome of what is wrong with politicians in this Country. He is a backstabbing son of a bitch. He is a looter and a pillager. He is the worst domestic enemy this Republic has. I am constantly amazed that he, and his spawn Hunter, are not in prison as we speak. Can you just imagine that if any of the things that this trash is suspected or known to have done were done by any of us, we would be under the jail…forever! No surprise that he gets away with it all. The murderous trash from hell dasHitlerbeast and the Lion of the Senate murderous Ted, GMAFB, made a career of capitalizing on their crimes. And the do nothing Repubs are just as bad. They let them get away with it.

I’ll say it again. Politicians were the main cause of the FIRST War Between The States, and the bastards will be the cause of the FIRST Civil War.

Green Thumb

At least he did not take sniper fire.

But if I remember correctly, he placed himself next door to the Sandy Hook shooting or such when in reality he was far removed.

Combat Historian

When Creepy Joey ran for prez in early 2008, he made a big deal of the fact he was tested under fire because when he visited the Baghdad IZ for 24 hours back in 2007 an artillery shell allegedly impacted a mile from him when he and his entourage were entering the U.S. Embassy. So while hilly had to dodge sniper fire, Joey had to dodge artillery fire; Joey is so brave…

That could have used some of his fight in Viet Of The Nam. It’s a damn shame the draft board gave home all of those student deferments. He and Corn Pop would have Ho Chi Minh running for the China border.

Stammering Joe is an empty suit with an accompanying empty head. Like Obama, he is only fully coherent when reading off a teleprompter or repeating phrases emanating from his earbud.

Yesterday he claimed not to know anything about any investigation of LTG Flynn, despite having attended the WH briefing on 1/05/17 and requesting Flynn’s unmasking a week later.

I was born and raised in Delaware (now a Floridian), and I fondly remember our best Senator from the First State: Bill Roth. You might be familiar with the Roth IRA…what has Biden championed? He had a ‘reputation’ as being an ‘Average Joe’…you know his mentors were old school Democratic Segregationists. He used to rank towards the bottom of The Senate in personal wealth. That all changed when became VP which I am sure he figured was his last public office. Him and his family became fully invested in reaping the rewards of the second highest public office. Read Peter Schweizer’s ‘Biden 5’ or watch one of the many Jimmy Dore videos on YouTube where he takes Creepy Joe to task. They guy has always had a trouble with truth. From the death of his first wife, his academic record, political record (done vs what he says he’s done), and now just another ‘distinguished gentlemen’ crook.

The Other Whitey

I have heard the stories of Creepy Joe’s rapey behavior towards female USSS agents before. Disturbing, disgusting, and sadly not at all surprising.

Remember that DC politics is a small town, so to speak. Are we really expected to believe that Barry & Mooch, everyone in Congress, and the DNC leadership haven’t known about this the entire time? And the same goes for the career R politicians. What we have here, against the wishes and efforts of our Founders, is a ruling class. Any “Regular Joe” among us commoners who exhibited behavior such as this would have been arrested, had every last tooth knocked out of his head, and quite possibly been shot. And rightly so! But these self-appointed Patricians in the whorehouse that is our capital can and do skate on DUI, insider trading, fraud, treason, rape, and even murder.

We need congressional term limits. And we need a new amendment, via Convention of the States if necessary, that bans all congressional perks. They can be quartered at an enlisted barracks at Fort Myer or Andrews AFB. They can eat mess hall food. They can ride the bus to and from work. And their salary can be determined via a vote of each member’s constituents. They are entitled to nothing more, and it’s long past time they were reminded of that.

penguinman000

I would also like to see an independent audit of every politician’s finances upon leaving office.

Retired Grunt

I was just trying to explain to several acquaintances who want a possible more direct transition back to the Constitutional Republic we are supposed to be what a convention of the States was. I told them my oath of office prevents me from committing treason and I would never consider such a thing and I do not advocate the overthrow of the United States government in any way shape or form what I do advocate is for a convention of the States to be called as allowed by the United States constitution. Once blood has been shed on any side of an argument you begin to create martyrs and that is no way to solve intellectual issues among peoples. I simply do not recall having been relieved of my oath yet.

NHSparky

Of course everyone in DC (and beyond) knew about Biden and his many faults.

Why else would he be referred to as, “Obama’s life insurance?”

JURASSICHM

Biden is running his campaign from his basement under the pretense of avoiding the virus. Most likely the Democrats have thrown him in there and told him to STFU. They are afraid if they let him out he will continue to make asinine statements, forget where he is or try to stick his hand up some woman’s skirt. People keep calling him the “presumptive” candidate. That’s because they hope someone better will show up at the last minute and rescue the party.

Mason

I’m with Nolte, as I usually find myself. Nude swimming in front of male SS agents would be weird and disturbing. That he did it with the women is just plain wrong. You’re telling me that the VP can’t afford swim trunks and there’s not a changing room?

Hate_Me

I am no fan of Joe Biden and do not want him as POTUS.

However, I don’t see what’s wrong with swimming naked in his own pool. The agents are there to safeguard him – full stop. The gender of the agents should be irrelevant, something seems seriously off about the whole situation if he has to modify his behavior simply to avoid offending their sensibilities (though there is much about his behavior that should be amended for other reasons).

Poetrooper

You’re missing the point Hate_Me, which is that the man has so little regard for the feelings of his agents that his “right” to swim naked in his pool takes precedence over their right to feel comfortable while guarding his life.

He’s an inconsiderate weenie-waggin’ jerk, period.

Hondo

Well, either that or he’s trolling (fishing version) his female USSS agents – e.g., looking for some “company”.

I get the idea he didn’t succeed. Perhaps he’s using too small an item for bait. (smile)

Hate_me

No, I got the point. I just feel his “right” takes primacy, in this particular case, over the agents’ feelings. I have no doubt he could have handled the situation in a more professional or respectful way, but it was “his” house, his body, and “his” pool. He shouldn’t be required to modify his behavior to accommodate his security detail (outside of how it directly impacts security), even if some may find it offensive.

I am not familiar with the administrative nuance within Secret Service assignments, but this sounds more like a staffing issue than a Biden issue.

NHSparky

File that under, “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”

timactual

Unless they are dermatologists looking for possible melanomas the Secret Service folks should be looking for possible threats in the other 359 degrees of the environment. I doubt if Biden’s physique is so remarkable that it mesmerizes female Secret Service agents. Of course Biden, given his penchant for exaggeration, may disagree.

Swimming nude in the privacy of your own pool may be unusual, even weird, but it isn’t creepy.

rgr769

Well, most of us likely think it is very telling about his respect for the agents protecting his arrogant ass.

Poetrooper

“Unless they are dermatologists looking for possible melanomas…”

More like they should be proctologists since they’re closely watching an asshole…

Hondo

Swimming nude in the privacy of your own pool may be unusual, even weird, but it isn’t creepy.

It is if you’re doing it in front of opposite-gender employees and/or LE personnel who haven’t given consent to your doing so.

It also might constitute legally actionable sexual harassment.

Hate_me

By joining the Secret Service and accepting such an assignment, haven’t they given at least tacit consent to witnessing innocent aspects of their charge’s personal life?

Still not seeing why the gender of the agents is a factor, unless it’s possible to control for that when deciding who is assigned where – in which case, it’s an issue within the Secret Service staffing policies and not with Biden (who has enough issues of his own).

Hondo

I’m guessing that protective detail assignments in the USSS are prestigious ones, particularly to the POTUS and VP. So banning females from a particularly prestigious detail (VP security) probably isn’t going to fly due to possible sex discrimination complaints.

And as you point out above, somewhat indirectly, it’s also possible some of the male USSS agents on his protective detail might have been offended as well.

Yes, protective detail agents do see some of the “behind the scenes” aspects of the lives of those they protect. But there are limits; while there might be a USSS detail down the hall when the POTUS and FLOTUS engage in some horizontal calisthenics, well, I kinda doubt they’re in the same room watching.

Bottom line: the agents were at their place of duty. If the agents weren’t asked ahead of time whether Biden skinny-dipping in their presence was acceptable and given the opportunity to voluntarily opt out with zero impact on their career, Biden was out of line. I seriously doubt that “regularly watch a 60+ year old dude swim naked” is a job performance element for the USSS.

If consent wasn’t obtained in advance and the behavior made anyone uncomfortable it’s out of line and could be legally actionable (creation of a hostile workplace).

Hate_me

Whether they were “given the option to opt out,” without repercussions, or not is an issue for the USSS’s leadership and policy-makers, as well as the individual agents and whether they feel the particulars of the job are worth keeping it – it is not the preview of the person they are charged with protecting, who should be free to conduct himself as he would if the detail wasn’t there unless it unnecessarily endangers his life.

Unless more information comes out that Biden forced the agents to be present beyond the normal conduct of their duties, then the onus for addressing the issue is not on him.

Hate_me

*purview, not preview

Autocorrect is digital tyranny.

Hate_me

And I hate that I’m defending Biden on any issue.

He’s bad for the nation and bad for the human race. He should still be free to swim naked in his own pool.

OWB

Would agree that the gender of the agents really is irrelevant to all this. However, no, taking an assignment is not agreement, tacit or otherwise, to witnessing their protectee undressing for any reason other than some emergency.

Try to make this scenario fly if the roles were reversed – what if the agency had a rule which demanded that agents participate/watch as their subject undressed for bed each night? Would that be justifiable? Of course not. Neither is stripping in front of the agents just because you want to no matter where it might be.

And, no, this is far beyond “witnessing innocent aspects of their charge’s personal life.” He might be able to get by with, “Oh, I forgot you were there,” once, but not routinely. It is hardly innocent. Overhearing a fart after dinner might be, but this is not.

Hate_me

How is it not innocent (swimming naked)? There’s no indication that he was doing it with the intent to offend, just that he prefers to swim in the nude. Hell, I would probably swim nude if I had my own indoor pool – it sounds very freeing.

Where is the line for which potentially-offensive behavior is acceptable and which isn’t? Many people are offended by public displays of affection; are VIPs to not kiss their husband/wife in front of their protective detail? What happened to the standard bodyguard trope of “pretend I’m not here” and the idea that they are there to protect the charge, not interfere unnecessarily in his life? That concept exist so that someone who likes to do weird – but safe and legal – stuff in private won’t refuse or duck his own security in order to do it.

It’s not really clear on why the agents have to be present while he’s alone in the pool (if one or two must be present to keep him from potentially drowning, and they know he likes to swim without clothes on, then accepting that responsibility sounds like consent).

*Please note, this is solely in regard to complaints about him swimming naked at his private residence. The rest of his behavior in the post, I agree, should be unacceptable.

OWB

All I am asking is if you would apply the same standard to every other old guy who strips nude in his back yard without regard for who might be viewing his nakedness. Is it OK when the neighbor kids are watching? The household staff? The drone hovering overhead?

It’s creepy behavior, no matter who is doing it. Or who he is displaying his wares to.

Privacy may indeed be part of the issue. Is the pool indoors or in full view of the neighborhood, for instance?

My main objection is the arrogance and hypocrisy of it. He is receiving a pass, of sorts, for behavior that any of the rest of us might be arrested for doing.

(I am remembering an incident not long ago in my own neighborhood that involved nudity in a hot tub by some local pols which caused the neighbors to call the police. The participants were all consenting but the neighbors were not enjoying the show.)

Hate_me

This wasn’t in his backyard where any neighbor could have been peering over the fence. At least, that’s not what the accusation is alleging – from that account, the only people impacted by his actions are the Secret Service agents assigned to protect him. My argument changes if he were swimming in an area where the neighbors kids could simply peak over the fence and observe (though I’m not sold on the idea that he wouldn’t have the “right“ to do so in that situation, either, but I’ll accept it’s less acceptable behavior). That is not the same audience as a security detail for which the job requires they be a minimally-disruptive part of the environment.

In either case, yes – I apply the same standard to any American, regardless of age, gender, profession, economic status, or any other qualifiers – except for the very specific circumstances that lead to one having a personal security detail in the first place.

I’m not defending Biden because he’s Biden. I’m defending him in spite of who he is.

The Other Whitey

Would you say the same if Biden were rubbing one out in full view of his protective detail? Sure, it’s in his own house, but I think we should be able to agree that at least a minimal level of decorum should be respected. Yes, the nature of their job means they’re seeing him where he would usually have an expectation of privacy, but that doesn’t mean he can just treat them like furniture.

Hate_me

I would say that is a different situation, given it’s sexual nature. There is nothing inherently sexual about swimming naked.

If he’s inviting the female agents to strip down and join him or to gaze upon his geriatric ass in wonder, then the issue is no longer about him swimming naked.

Hate_me

Also, he can jerk off anywhere he can find privacy. He can only swim naked in the pool. If the agents have to be there, then it is simply an occupational hazard. If the circumstances prevent them from ever leaving their charge alone, those hazards extend to being present (not necessarily watching, but possibly) when he takes a crap, bangs his wife, bangs his mistress (still legal and safe), or rubs one out.

Otherwise, people will attempt to duck their security detail and take unnecessary chances because “being offended” trumps doing the damned job despite the ugly bits (no pun).

OWB

While it might not be creepy at your house, in general, what you should or should not do in front of other people depends upon the circumstances. Sure, swimming nude in your own pool sounds benign enough, when you are alone or with consenting adults. What if that pool can be seen by the 4-yr olds next door? Still ok, and not creepy? How’s about in front of the housekeeper?? Or any other employees?

Sounds plenty creepy to me. Disrobing in front of others just because you can and they can’t leave pretty much defines creepy. Does he expect the agents (male OR female) to applaud? Toss $$ at him? Just ignore him?? Or maybe he enjoys creeping people out.

I just remembered this story from a while back. Female senators were barred from the Senate pool since two male senators liked to swim nude. The policy wasn’t repealed until 2009, which suspiciously lines up with Biden taking a new job.

So now we know one of the male Senators. Isn’t Joe supposed to be a member of the party of equality and acceptance?

“Biden is a notorious flapjaw. His vanity deludes him into believing that every word that drops from his mouth is minted in the golden currency of Pericles. Vanity is the most conspicuous characteristic of US Senators en bloc, nourished by deferential acolytes and often expressed in loutish sexual advances to staffers, interns and the like. On more than one occasion CounterPunch’s editors have listened to vivid accounts by the recipient of just such advances, this staffer of another senator being accosted by Biden in the well of the senate in the week immediately following his first wife’s fatal car accident.”
