Man shot by Cobb police after allegedly attacking Publix employees, cops
By Asia Simone Burns
A man was shot by a Cobb County police officer after authorities said he attacked several people Sunday morning, including grocery store employees and law enforcement officers. The incident began with a 911 call from the Publix shopping center on Alabama Road about 7 a.m., Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Delk said in a news release. Officers were sent to the store after someone reported a man was physically attacking employees as they arrived, he said. The man, identified by the GBI as 22-year-old Jeffery Thomas Moore of Woodstock, was gone by the time police arrived. However, the department received more 911 calls reporting a man was attacking people in nearby parking lots, according to Delk.
When police found the man, he attacked several officers, leaving one injured, Delk said. Moore refused to comply with the officers’ commands and ran away, according to GBI spokeswoman Natalie Ammons. Police later found him hiding in a yard on Bedell Road. Moore once again disobeyed orders when police tried to arrest him, Ammons said. Officers tried to shock him with a Taser while trying to take him into custody.
One of the officers fired his weapon at Moore, according to Ammons. He was hit, but managed to run away once more, she said.

That last case, damn shame that. Even worse, the location of the p**sy’s suicide has not-a-damn thing to do with his heinous crime and the other ‘conveniently omitted facts’ for the “news” media. Sheldon Francis, may ye rot in hell.
Ed, thank you for the edit!
That story is just too damn sad and infuriating to let it go.
The narrative seems to focus on the criminal and not his victims, which imho, is worthy of admonishment of the jurnos.
Had to fix my own mistake; you replied to an early edit posted in error. Wouldn’t be fair to lose your comment, too.
Agree. Lazy Journos, the bane of my existence.
As Alice said, “Curiouser and curiouser.”
The hubby hands step daughter a gun, then proceeds to attack the car and Mom, and threaten Mom and daughter.
Stop and reread that:
Hands stepdaughter the gun, then attacks.
That boy’s cornbread ain’t done in the middle.
Noted that too. Concrete in a gunfight after GIVING AWAY HIS GUN! People unclear on the concept…
“Stop and reread that:”
Yeah, that’s just what I did, three times before it really soaked in. The guy’s cheese slipped off his cracker.
Suicide by kid? Wow.
At this point I’ll even take the cheap trifecta of wounded. Not too smart to hand a firearm to someone who then shoots your sorry ass! Any bastard that would raise a hand to a woman should be shot!!
“Meth or PCP?”
Bath salts if he was scantily clad.
Meth if he was wearing panties.
So I’ll take (not literally) PCP for the win.
Other than the taxpayer having to feed, house, and take care of health related matters, a poor man’s trifecta is an acceptable score…for a Tuesday. Would have preferred that the trash had been taken all the way out AND disposed of, but we can always hope for a nice staph infection, or a broken taint with food poisoning (bad weenie) from the BTJ&T Deli. Tomorrow is another day.
No linky for the American Classic? sigh… Wonder how many hits I’ll get if I Google Foo that? Who knows, that may take me to web sites about hamburgers, hot dogs, apple pie, or girls that live next door.
That is a beautiful example of St JMB (Howitzer be his name) handicraft. If I only hadn’t lost mine in the swamp during that boating accident …………..
