Police: Man Shoots 3 Teens He Says Attacked Him On SEPTA Bus In Oxford Circle
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man opened fire inside of a SEPTA bus claiming he was being attacked by three teenage boys, police say. The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. on the No. 58 bus at Bustleton Avenue and St. Vincent Street in Oxford Circle.
Police say the teens, ages 17, 16 and 15, were shot in the legs and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
“Preliminary information is that 24-year-old male who was being physically attacked, did pull a handgun and fire at least three shots,” Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.
Three other people on the bus and the driver were not hurt.

Three good boys with limps, somebody needs range time.
I would say the concerned citizen was worried about hitting innocent bystanders and aimed low. Two of them will be limping for a while, and one won’t be able to sit down. The third I think will have his dreams of playing in the NBA “shot” as it will be hard to jump when you have been shot through the kneecap!
I heard someone say they were just asking the gentlemen to turn down his classical music, as it was out of sync from the Church Hymns they were practicing!
What a great read.
And a beauty of a photo.
Iffen we add the two from the archives we can call it a full house. Iffen the Philly citizen had of had more range time, and we add the archives we’d had Aces & 8s. Iffen the Philly citizen hadda had more range time AND the citizens from the archives hadda, shoulda, oughta pulled the triggers (woulda been good shoots too) THEN we coulda hadda Royal Flush 5 DRTs.
May and or may not have a Lancaster PA Kaintuck Rifle in a .36 that is accurate as all hell. Had Grand Pappys that fit the Brits at Kings Mountain. And NOLA.
Guess most of y’all can figure out what one of my all time favorite Bobby Horton Albums is.
I have a left-handed, percussion Lyman .54 Cal Hawken Plains Rifle that shoots beautifully fresh out of the box. I wanted a flintlock but clicked on and ordered the wrong product. But since I don’t have to fuss with flints and priming a pan, I am happy with what I received. Thus, never have to worry about “a flash-in-the-pan.”

Wrong Horton (Johnny) but here you go Bro.
The Kentucky Rifle, for the time it was pinnacle of weapons’ tech, exclusively utilized by civilians while the military had smooth bore muskets which is the only Arm the Lefties would allow. Representative Crockett couldn’t be reached for comment.
Smooth bores were faster to load and cheaper. In the context of the Napoleonic times, in which armies marched to within a hundred yards or so and fired from parade lines, minute of soldier accuracy was good enough. Had nothing to do with “lefties.”
