Legislation Blocked to Deny Trump “Win”

Both political parties tend to block legislation that the other side considers important. The conservative side of the house voices concerns over the negative impact that such legislation would have if passed.

A look at what happened in Virginia is an example. Democrat bills met resistance on the Republican side of the aisle. However, when Democrats won both houses, gun control legislation saw better opportunities to be considered.

Representative Mikie Sherrill, Democrat from New Jersey, indicated one of the Democrat motivations for blocking conservative legislation.

From The Washington Free Beacon:

When I go, you know, I’ve gone up to people and said, ‘I need to get this piece of legislation passed,’ and they say ‘Oh yeah, we just passed it,'” Sherrill said. “I said, ‘Yeah, we just passed it. I need the Senate to pass it and I need the president to sign it,’ and they said ‘Well, we don’t want to give the president a win.‘”

Sherrill’s comments contrast with Democrats’ longstanding criticism of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) for blocking Democratic initiatives in the Senate. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) unveiled a visual representation of McConnell’s “legislative graveyard” in June, accusing the Kentucky Republican of blocking legislation for political gain.

Leader McConnell seems to take great pride in calling himself ‘The Grim Reaper.’ It’s part of his political campaign, it’s part of the pride he takes as leader of the Senate,” Pelosi said. “The Senate will certainly be hearing from the public on issues, values really, that have bipartisan support across America.

According to National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Michael McAdams, Sherrill’s admission contradicts Democrats’ push for bipartisanship in the Republican-held Senate.

Meanwhile, the President is looking to get common-sense policies in place to combat this pandemic. The Free Beacon has more here.

“…looking to get common-sense policies…” Well THAT ain’t gonna happen. Orange man bad click…Orange man bad click!

We look a recent history, before daTrumpster ran for office, how many people just LOVED them some “The Donald.” Even the Bitch of Benghazi, dasHilda Beast, the murderous trash from hell skrunt thought that he was the kitty katz jammies. It was only after “she” didn’t get her turn, and Trump was elected by the Patriotic Citizens of this Country to save this Country, to drain the Swamp, to uncover and prosecute the deep seated corruption, that he became the “Orange Man Bad.”

We are just one of those tiny voices in the Wilderness, screaming out for Justice. This pandemic has shown the enemies of our Republic just how easy it is to clamp down on the entire population. Get some pitch forks, tar with feathers, and some ropes boys and girls, this sh^t ain’t gonna do nothing but get worse. They know how many votes they need to steal for 2020. The absentee ballot request forms are already being delivered.

This klown krew in the House hasn’t done dick for nearly four years, except fail again and again to oust Trump.
I rather imagine this will be brought up during the election run-up. Loudly and often.
