Border Patrol Agent Stops Knife Attack in West Texas Sam’s Club

By: BOB PRICE
An off-duty Big Bend Sector Border Patrol agent stopped a knife attack in a West Texas Sam’s Club store on Saturday night after hearing a scuffle. The agent quickly took action and disarmed the man who allegedly attacked multiple people, including a small child.

Shortly before store closing on Saturday night, an off-duty Border Patrol agent assigned to the Big Bend Sector heard a commotion in a Midland Sam’s Club. The agent began to search for the source of the noise and came upon a man who was actively stabbing multiple people with a knife, according to Big Bend Sector Border Patrol officials.

The man, later identified as Jose Gomez, allegedly stabbed multiple people including a small child, officials stated. The Border Patrol agent drew his handgun and identified himself to the alleged attacker as a law enforcement officer. He ordered Gomez to drop the knife and held him until local law enforcement officers from the Midland Police Department arrived and took custody of the suspected attacker.

“The quick action of our Agent ended this shocking situation and clearly saved multiple lives,” Big Bend Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak said in a written statement. “I’m proud of our agents as they are valuable members of our communities. This is another example of how we protect America.”

Disabled apartment resident shoots burglar to death: HCSO
Two people have been charged in connection with the deadly burglary at the Carrington Place Apartments.

Author: Cory McCord
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A disabled woman shot an intruder to death Saturday afternoon at her north Harris County apartment, according to investigators.

Around 2:50 p.m., Harris County deputies responded to the shooting at the Carrington Place Apartments in the 12700 block of FM 1960 West.

When they arrived at the scene, deputies found an 18-year-old male lying in the grass outside of Building No. 13. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies said the 18-year-old and a 17-year-old male broke a resident’s patio door window. The 53-year-old disabled resident was home alone when the teens broke the window and reached inside and unlocked the door, according to investigators.

The resident fired one shot, killing the teen who was in front, deputies said.

The second suspect, Aren Lacour, as well as 18-year-old Ayanna Harrison, were detained at the scene. Deputies said Harrison was the driver of a nearby getaway vehicle.

Deputies said the getaway vehicle, a white four-door Mercedes-Benz, is linked to other burglaries in the area.

The teen who was shot has not been identified.

Felony murder charges are pending against Lacour and Harrison. They’re possibly going to be facing that charge because, according to authorities, they committed the felony offense of burglary of a habitation which resulted in the death of another person.

Two who will rob no more, and three awaiting justice, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. A pretty damned good day. On an aside, I’ve been doing the daily FGS for a while now, and certain network call letters seem to occur pretty often. KHOU is one of these.

Well here is a bit of good news. That NJ security guard who was arrested over his job sidearm and ammo is now out of immediate threat of prosecution.

They still ruined him. He is now basicly broke and unemployable in his original profession.

Hope he bounces back. Moving to America would be prudent.

“The charges against Twyne are representative of the difficulties of navigating New Jersey’s gun laws, which are among the strictest in the nation”

Sounds like they are making an excuse for the
police officers because it’s hard to follow
your own fucking job requirements you useless

And this is why state preemption laws are needed. One state, one set of laws, not a patchwork of laws that change township to township. It would be even better to have a set of national umbrella laws which would cover things like concealed carry reciprocity, but you know CA, NY, and IL would want their way.

Time for a little payback. Sue the two po-po who DIDN’T KNOW THE LAW, sue them for false arrest, loss of employment and wages, and whatever else can be made to stick.
Don’t sue the PD, any money from that comes out of the taxpayers’ pockets. Sue the two individual po-po, make sure any money comes out of their personal pockets.

The union will protect them because of the
lack of training provided by the state.

Thunderstixx

Can’t do it.
The federal law stating that individual government entities cannot be sued without the permission of the agency itself…
Like that will happen.
Check out Glenn Reynolds on Instapundit for stories on this bull shit federal law…..

The man with the knife. Some people have such anger issues! What, he couldn’t find any TP, the shelves were empty?

Good for granny for cleaning the gene pool of one defective. One shot, one kill. You are a GO at this station, no further range time needed.

The two deceased thugs. One DRT, one DOT. Either way, the gene pool is a little cleaner for the rest of us.

That part of Houston (Harris County) is in general pretty decent, homes ranging from nice to very nice: except for the apartment complexes. Literally three minutes from the former casa, shopped at the Home Depot across from those apartments almost daily.
