Rock band Bon Jovi says to expect their next album, “Bon Jovi 2020” to be packed with political fare from gun control to veterans issues.

Rolling Stone reports that the band put out a press release about the album, telling fans the music will tackle “tough topics such as gun control, veterans’ issues, politics, the meaning of family, and much more.”

Oh, great.

On June 9, 2015, Breitbart News reported that Jon Bon Jovi hosted a fundraiser for gun control candidate Hillary Clinton. The event was the first fundraiser Clinton held in New Jersey after announcing her candidacy. More recently, the Associated Press reported that Jon Bon Jovi was “among Cory Booker’s top campaign fundraisers.”

Booker, a Democrat Senator from New Jersey, is a staunch gun control proponent. Booker ran on requiring would-be gun buyers to undergo a TSA-style precheck interview before being allowed to purchase a firearm.

The rock band’s frontman Jon Bon Jovi has long despised Donald Trump. He said a month before the 2016 election that Donald Trump “scares the shit” out of him.

Supported both Clinton and Booker? A two time loser. Bon Jovi is a musician, an entertainer, not a political scientist or Democrat pundit. Go ahead and alienate half of the listening public and see what happens to sales.

Butthead was right – Bon Jovi SUCKS

  2. Duane says:

Yet another celeb that seems to think that their opinion is worth anything on the political spectrum. He can join Clint Eastwood and all the rest of them that seem to think that we are just waiting for words of wisdom to pop out of their pie holes…and piss off in the process.

  3. The man was elected in 2016, so why are these A-holes still living here instead of Canada where they said they would move if the man was elected POTUS. I’m sure all these peeps including Eastwood could afford buying a house in Canada. High above the US border, I met a French Canadian girl, her hair was black her eyes were brown, she set my heart a whirl. Wilf Carter-AKA Montana Slim.

No comment from Guns and Roses!

And nobody cares in three… Two…

  6. Cameron Kingsley says:

That’s a nice clown suit you got there Bonnie. And to think I used to enjoy listening to your music. You trying to impersonate a general or look like a generalissimo of a banana republic? Your outfit reminds me of of Admiral General Aladeen from The Dictator. All you’re missing is the chest full of medals, the ridiculously large ribbon rack, and the gold epaulettes.

  7. 5th/77th FA says:

Never cared for his music. Never cared for his politics. Never asked for his opinion.

Still don’t! He and the seagull can both go phuque off…together.

Interesting 3 Minute Video, “Liberals Shoot Gus For the 1st Time”.

    You Be The Judge.

    • rgr769 says:

If they shoot poor ol’ Gus on video, they are likely going to jail.

      • ninja says:

        You got my joke!

        (“Gus” & “Guns”..I could not resist…)

        • rgr769 says:

I love the reactions of the Soy-boi. Sorta reminds me of our gun hero Gersh Kuntzman. But I will give the metrosexual (or whatever sexual) some credit, he did brave the recoil of a 12 gauge.

    • AW1Ed says:

Did that with my son and his Brit bride. She had never held a firearm before, and was clearly waaaay out of her comfort zone. All range and other safety rules were explained and observed, and my son demo-fired the Ruger Mk III. Her turn. After her third shot she was giggling and shooting the heart out of the target. Another convert.

      • Doc Savage says:

Ah, and lest we forget Gersh “I got PTSD from firing an AR 15” Kuntzman…..who my ( then ) 19 year old, 95 lb daughter, who has fired the AR 15 countless times, said after watching his video, “Daddy, a Ken doll has bigger marbles”.

        Yup….thats my baby Savage. 🙂

        • Graybeard says:

Glad my mouth was empty, Doc. I might have aspirated something.

I hereby move that “a Ken doll has bigger marbles” be added to the HoI.

      • ninja says:

Yep. Saw the same thing with a Nephew.

Have to give him credit; after convincing him to go to an Indoor Range with us to observe, he became open minded and wanted to try it.

He is now hooked. Now if we can get him to try Bacon..(currently, he is a sworn Vegan).

        • Mason says:

“currently, he is a sworn Vegan”

Mein Gott. Sorry to hear that. My niece recently told us she’s a vegetarian. She’s 15, so I’m hoping it’s just a phase.

          • 5th/77th FA says:

The more vegans there are, the more bacon for us normal people.

If a child of mine announced they were vegan, I’d have to go home and punch their Mama right in the mouth. There would be no way that child came from my loins. (loins 😉 😉 see what I did there) hbtd rtr gabn 😆 😆 😆

        • NHSparky says:

My daughter was a vegetarian at age 13.

          For a whole day.

      • USAF RET says:

Took my somewhat anti-gun, Brit wife to indoor range. Put a couple hundred rounds through my Canik then more thru my Sig M17. She turn after the first few and simply said, “I want one”. I complied but that was, sadly, before they were all lost in the great flood.

      • rgr1480 says:

Same happened with my Japanese wife 25 years ago. Something about her changed … I could see it in her eyes; scarey! I need to get over my fear and get her to the range again. (^__^)

Kinda like after watching “Fatal Attraction” … you’re reeeeeal careful not to do anything that could get your “bunny boiled.”

  10. JacktheJarhead says:

He is welcome to his opinion. Wonder what will happen when his security can’t get guns because they aren’t cops and the old “Special Deputy” shtick doesn’t work. You and Old Brucey go have a love fest.

  11. Fjardeson says:

Clint Eastwood, and now Jon Bon Jovi? These entertainers need to STAY IN THEIR LANE!

    • Comm Center Rat says:

I imagine New Jersey’s other favorite son, Bruce Springsteen, will be singing some anti-Republican and anti-American drivel at the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

      • Mick says:

You mean New Jersey’s self-proclaimed blue collar tough guy Bruce Springsteen, the Viet of the Nam times “stone cold draft dodger”?

‘Bruce Springsteen said writing his song “Born in the U.S.A” helped him cope with his mixed feelings about dodging the draft during the Vietnam War.

“I had some friends, very close friends of mine…guys who came home in wheelchairs, and then, I didn’t go,” the singer told Tom Hanks at Tribeca Film Festival event Friday, “I was a stone-cold draft dodger.”

Springsteen explained he pulled “everything in the draft-dodger’s text book.”

“So, perhaps, I felt guilty about that later on. I had friends who went. I had friends who went and died. I had friends later on who were seriously hurt,” he continued.

He decided he needed to “come to terms with myself” and sing about what he had done.’

As Jonn said at the time, “So, he was just a fricken coward.”

        • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Which makes him about as respectable as “Hanoi Jane” Fonda in my book!

        • Ret_25X says:

BS! There is no way this narcissistic tool ever had a friend.

        • AW1Ed says:

Like Pat Conroy, a 1967 The Citadel graduate, author of The Great Santini (among others), draft dodger and anti-war activist. He later in life came to regret this, and wrote,

“I wish that I had entered into the Marine Corps and led a platoon of Marines in Vietnam…. Now I understand that I should have protested the war after my return from Vietnam, after I had done my duty.”

Too little, too late. He died 4 March 2016.

        • rgr769 says:

I’d like to have it confirmed that Springsteen had any friends whatever that died in Vietnam or “came home in wheelchairs.” I bet it is bullshit because he likely never spent any time with anyone who ever experienced combat in Vietnam before they served there. In six years of active duty and four years in ROTC during the Vietnam War, I only knew about five men who died in combat and maybe another dozen or so wounded. And I was a professional soldier, not an entertainer.

        • Fjardeson says:

Ouch, that hurts. Never figured ol’ Jersey Bruce was a draft-dodger.

          Fake heroes die hard.

Speaking of Gun Control, Family and Politics:

Wonder if Bon Jovi will now endorse Joe Biden since Booker dropped out the race?

The latest from Joe Biden (24 February 2020) caught on video:

“Who in God’s name needs a hundred rounds in a bullet, in a clip, with a gun you have?”

“Let’s see I have this straight: There are a hundred rounds in the bullet and this hundred-round bullet goes in a clip, or perhaps the hundred rounds are clipped to the bullet, and then this massive thing goes in a gun I have?”

“This is Biden saying, “I want to ban something I know nothing about.”

Then on the same day, Joe uses his clairvoyant powers to negotiate with the dead (on video)

Joeclaimed he worked with Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping on the Paris Climate Accord.

Only thing is Xiapoing left office in 1992 and has been dead for 23 years.

Additionally, Joe asked for help from folks in South Carolina by reminding them: “My name’s Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden”. (On Video)

And of course, the other day, Joe boasted of being arrested in South Africa while visiting Nelson Mandela in prison as well as pointing out that his deceased Son, Beau, was the Attorney General of the United States.

So……After hearing all of that, do you think Bon Jovi will endorse Joe Biden?

Because, after all, Joe Biden IS “Living On a Prayer”.

    • Mason says:

      Biden also today said that he worked on the Paris Climate Accords with a Chinese president who hasn’t been in office since the early 90’s and has been dead 23 years. Same speech, the mental giant said;

My name’s Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate.Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden.

At what point is it elder abuse to keep him campaigning? I think that time has passed. He’s clearly lost the handful of marbles he had to begin with. I think Corn Pop might have given him permanent brain damage.

    • rgr769 says:

Last night Quid Pro Joe said that since 2007 “one hundred fifty million people had been killed by guns;” and that is why he has been fighting the gun manufacturers and the NRA. Gee whiz, who knew 45 percent of the nation’s population was wiped out in the past 14 years with firearms.

      • UpNorth says:

I keep looking around, traffic is still shit in the morning and afternoon, restaurants are still crowded at certain times of the day, where did that 150,000,000 go? Cemeteries still have vacancies, how can that be?

        • rgr769 says:

It is a mystery. Maybe Joe got his figures confused. Because we know that communism has killed about 150 million people, and many of them were shot that weren’t starved to death.

  13. Ret_25X says:

    Bon jovi is still alive?

    who knew?

certainly not anyone who listens to rock music.

Between these guys and that other rich kid from jersey…ummm…..can’t remember his name….uhhh…oh! yes, Brucie, we can safely say that NJ is so full of pretentious BS it may explode!

  14. ArmyATC says:

Bon Jovi is still a thing? I thought his popularity died with the 90s.

  15. SgtM says:

Bon Jokey is peddling his own wine now. His alcohol is more deadly to people than my guns. If it saves one child from getting drunk on his alcohol, he should burn his business down.

  16. Green Thumb says:

    Jon Bon Clown.

  17. BruteLarson407 says:

Well. I guess if Bon Jovi is on record as being against the right to self defense for us kulaks, then I’ll rethink my position on a right given to me by The Deity as a sentient meat puppet. But only after he walks through Newark by himself with not so much as pepper spray. He has to sing Dixie while he’s doing it, and dress like a hair band rock star.

  24. Penguinman000 says:

A little bit of education and experience goes a long way toward making inroads with normal folks. These artists and others that are famous for whatever skill set they are good at puts them in a bubble. They seem to think being really good at one thing translates into everything else in life. That just ain’t so.

Some of the dumbest people I’ve ever met were well educated and very successful in their chosen fields. They tend to lack the ability to critically self assess. Must come from living in an insular bubble where everyone tells you how awesome you are all the time.

Every time I hear actors, musicians, etc… spouting their “well informed opinions” I just think about how they are monkeys dancing for peanuts. Entertaining to watch do their thing (sometimes) but I don’t look to a monkey for guidance (unless it has to do with performing for a crowd or slinging my own feces at someone).

I also don’t listen to my doctor when it comes to plumbing advice. Nor my plumber about medical advice.

Shut up and stay in your own damn lane. I’m swimming in my own and you dip shots keep crashing into me. And tell me it’s my fault they can’t swim in a straight line.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

IMHO the liberal Hollywierd elites spend their days completely disconnected from reality with their entourage members constantly kissing their asses and saying “Yes” to everything they say.

  30. Hack Stone says:

He could put whatever he wants on an album, but it will never get any airplay and may sell a few thousand copies, at best. The only songs from the bands popular in the 1980’s that get played on the radio are the songs from the 1980’s. The bands crank out the albums, a few die hard fans buy them, play them once, then file them away, never to be heard again.
