0601 hours (no clue how many bells that is) and this FGS thread as empty as the Navy Scoreboard during a gridiron athletic competition that is held the FIRST Weekend in December.

All that talk of heel position has got our main man all discombobulated.

What ARE we gonna do with him.

  2. 5th/77th FA says:

I guess dodging a conviction on 3 murder charges is kinda sorta a trifecta? And making sure you are the only witness still alive helps too. Taking out a known Chester the Molester should get one a medal…and some reward money.

Saw that ‘beans,11B, and API was wandering around the other threads FIRST thing this morning. I’ll go see if I can find them, maybe get some cat heads with sausage gravy & grits with eggs.

Did get some feel good news from the chancre mechanic on yesterday pm past. The MRI they did showed no damage to the rotator cuff meaning there is NO surgery required. Thanks for the prayers offered up. Since they are still practicing medicine, doc shot another dose of cortisone, this one into the top of the shoulder. That made for a trifecta of shots, front, rear, and now thru the top of the shoulder.
If that doesn’t fix it, the next step is a laser guided shot into the shoulder channel. Then they’ll look for pinched nerves. I asked that chancre mechanic if all of this is just a sensor/check engine light coming on because of age and high mileage. He failed to see the dark humor in that. Little Miss Thang PA (a fun sized, well constructed ginger) laughed her ass off, so there was that. The main thing all this has accomplished is the relieving of the swelling in my wallet.

Well, I have a Feelz Good Story right here, courtesy of WUWT: IT seems that the Useless Idiots known as Extinction Rebellion are annoying commuters in UKLand more and more by blocking commuter traffic.

I’ve also seen a brief article about some Climate Protesters burying their heads in the sand. The reaction to this is now turning to mockery.
he link to that is here:

Also, Little Greta will NOT get a Nobel prize, after all.

Those Feelz Good Stories should make all of you a bit happier. I know it warmed the house up a bit when I started giggling, and the outdoor temps here have dropped into the mid-30s, too. 🙂

And yet, she really isn’t important, never was. She had a famous father. Nothing else.

    • Cameron Kingsley says:

That retweet that Tim Bell shared from Jimmy Rustler telling women to make sure that they have a safe space ready for their conservative men in the inevitable case that Greta Thunberg received a Nobel Peace Prize only for it to be given to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia (who actually is doing something to earn it in the form of taking initiative and cooperating internationally to stop a border conflict with neighboring Eritrea) was rather funny. Especially the reply from Okey saying that the tweet didn’t age well (which it sure didn’t and it didn’t take long at all for it to age).

      • Thunderstixx says:

Nice to know that not every institution in the world has gone off the deep end.
This was a well deserved prize.
I think they learned a lesson when they got so much shit for giving one to oblowme before he even did anything…..
        Well deserved lesson there…..

      • A Proud Infidel®™️ says:

The Nobel Prize has also been awarded to Al Gore Junior and B. Hussein 0bama and I’ve had no respect for it or the Nobel Committee since!

        • Cameron Kingsley says:

Oh I agree 100% API. I remember Steven Crowder making a pretty funny rap video of Obama getting the prize. At least this Prime Minister is actually doing something (from the looks of it).

  4. 5th/77th FA says:

Hey Little Greta, your private jet aircraft is awaiting to take you and your stank ass hippie parents back to Sweden. Close the door on the way out.

Brother sent me an article from Dakota on her big rally going to be held there. They barely got it done before the big snow storm hit. His grandkids (some Greta’s age bracket) and their school buddies was all giddy about it. He snorted as he checked out the snow-blower. Rapid City just beefed up the city ordinance to include all sidewalks in the residential areas are the responsibility of the home owners.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

There was a very, very brief bit of news about her “visit” there. No pan shots around the room to show a crowd. Just closeups. Must have been a chilly reception….

Rapid City homeowners will have to clean their own sidewalks???? Da Horrorr! I have to clean mine, and sometimes my neighbors and I get out and form a group shoveling activity. Last winter, one of the families on my street piled up the snow, made an igloo and told their kids to play in that if they wanted to stay outside. Kids lasted about five minutes and wanted back into the house. Winter is hard.

      • 5th/77th FA says:

Fuzzy on the details for the snow removal. Seems the city is now blowing the snow onto the sidewalk into the yards and the cleaning of the sidewalk by the homeowner can’t go back into the street? Brother is in Black Hawk and was taking his machine to a buddy in RC. None of the kids attending the Greta rally was interested in turning off their electronics and marching to the site v taking individual rides. And most of them wouldn’t know a snow shovel if it hit them upside the head.

        • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Those snowflakes claim that they’re going to start a revolution while none of them can even start a lawnmower or figure out which bathroom to use!

  5. Toxic Deplorable Racist B Woodman says:

How do you get THREE charges of Capital Murder from ONE shooting? Ahhhh, the oddities of the legal system.
I’m just as glad that “boy” beat the system, but really, he shouldn’t have stolen the deceased perp’s car.

  6. AW1Ed says:

OK Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, the post is fixed back into something resembling my usual format, with some additional commentary on the events of the morning. Sterling Heights man pleads guilty to shipping firearm parts hidden in toys
    Sarah Rahal, The Detroit News
A Sterling Heights man pleaded guilty Friday to unlawfully exporting firearm parts hidden in toys to Australia, authorities said.

Rrok Martin Camaj, 34, entered the guilty plea in U.S. District Court before Judge Terrence Berg, U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider said in a news release.
This handout photo from the U.S. Attorney’s Office shows firearms parts being smuggled inside toy motorcycles.

Officials say from March 2018 through January, Camaj sent firearm parts — including pistol frames, firing pins, springs, ejectors and magazines — through the mail to cohorts in Australia.

Camaj was not licensed to ship firearm parts, and to remain undetected, he hid the parts inside large motorized toy motorcycles, officials said.

“…on the events of the morning.” Not to worry bro, Alexa keeps me informed. I wasn’t too concerned, knew you would wander thru, eventually if not sooner. ‘beans was getting bored, API was antsy, 11B started polishing his mail box keys, and Commissar was blaming Trump. Was kinda funny FIRST thing when all we had was the Header and part of the linkie. Clicking on the “continue reading” block left a space as vacant as Navy’s playbook. Didn’t know my Dawgs was gonna use that same playbook today. Kinda glad I couldn’t watch it on TV.

Gubmint can’t keep weapons out of prisons, gunz free zones or the mail system, but the expect us to believe that they can protect us when they disarm us. Wonder how many of those pieces and parts were going to criminal elements as v private citizens? Oh wait… guess the private citizens getting gun parts in the mail are now considered the criminal element.

To figure out why some areas have the level of crime they have, look to the demographics AND which political party has been “in control.” When some of us were detail for emergency repairs in B’ham we would ask for combat zone pay differential. The company’s answer was to tell us to carry an old wallet with fake cards and a buck or two in it to give the muggers.

And no, you can’t retire from FGS now.

      • Blaster says:

Yes! A lot of weirdness. It seems that the outrageous is embraced and normal is looked down on

        • Roh-Dog says:

This probably belongs in the WOT but here we go:
Apparently GA is suffering some of the same ills. Students at GSU took offense over claims/accusations of ‘white privilege’ and in a controlled burn, torched their own property. Some genius conflated this act of protest with the beloved trope of ‘der Natsees’. The Dean had to come out saying the students’ actions were protected under ‘free speech’. I’m no weatherman but this psyop seems to be metastasizing.

          • A Proud Infidel®™️ says:

Waitaminnit, those snowflakes torched THEIR OWN property in protest of “white privilege”? IMHO that’s like cutting your nuts off because your neighbor has eight kids, liberalism is truly a mental disorder!

            • ArmyATC says:

No, the students were protesting an author who was paid to speak at the school. She’s a leftist bint who wrote a book on “diversity.” But rather than talk about her book she lectured the majority white students on their “white privilege.” After a rather tumultuous Q&A, the students burned the author’s book. It would appear that the younger generation is getting damned sick and tired of being told that everything in the world is their fault because they were born white. They’re sick of being called ‘ists’ because they have a different viewpoint than the leftists. I’ve read that ‘Generation Z’ will be the most conservative that we’ve seen in generations. This would seem to be a bit of proof of that.

              • Roh-Dog says:

The Gen Z’er (zoomers) are learning a valuable lesson, after Horace’s Great Lie the second most important rule of Humanity: all power is by it’s Nature, corrupt.

IMHO it would be VERY NICE to see that happen!

        • Ex-PH2 says:

That’s interesting: Capo-Crucet is paler than I am, thanks to her Anglo ancestors – probably Castilians, from northern Spain, but she’s claiming the students were racists when she herself was the author of those books? She’s more prejudiced than they are.

Does anyone ever tell these self-important twits that they should look in the mirror occasionally?

          • Blaster says:

I’m going to go with a big fat NO!

They don’t have time for self-reflection. It would take too much time away from telling everyone else how and where THEY’RE wrong and what THEY need to change.

I work in management and have been assisting with insurance open-enrollment this past week. After explaining some basic economics to the younger employees, I think that I may have converted some to the conservative side. They figured out that nothing is really for free, someone has to pay for it. This time it’s them, and they didn’t like it.

Two days ago some of you assholes were claiming that the Kurds being attacked were not the ones allied with the US but rather “terrorists” and “communists”.

Are you willing to admit that excuse for defending Trump was bullshit?

The deafening silence you partisan cowards over your shitbag abandoning the Kurds makes the Trump cult complicit.

If Kurdish allies being executed by Turkey doesn’t make you “feel good” then maybe you complicit fucks should be as angry about Trump abandoning them as I am.

Maybe this blog should be discussing it rather than ignoring it, flaming me when I try to discuss it, and making up excuses in order to defend Trump’s decision.

Worse case? You are absolutely right, this is a first amendment issue, and the current SCOTUS which is the most right wing court in 100 years, strikes any action on this issue down.

                  • just lurkin says:

Oh please Lars-the issue is that I am opposed to the Democrats because they are a threat to our Constitution. And the piece on Reason quotes them directly in how they intend to make good that threat, but, as expected you hand wave all of that. You can’t defend what your side is pushing, so you come over here and go on the offense against Trump. Well I’ll tell you Lars, right now it looks like he is all that is standing between us and all that crazy (and don’t think that we don’t notice that there are those on your side who threaten to pack to court so that they can get their way). But defending the Kurds would be a worthy way to go out.

Much better than the justifications I have come up with so far

          • Commissar says:

            It is not about control.

I am directly calling you out for being a hypocrite.

Most of the contributors to this site ripped Obama apart, sometimes deservedly, for every real and perceived slight or mistake.

Year, you have been supportive, complicit, and silent with respect to Trump.

Trump has been a dumpster fire who has undermined our alliances, abandoned allies, acted like a cuck with every despot and authoritarian in the world -especially Putin-, put his self interest over the interests of the country or the responsibilities of his office, and when he was no focused on his self interest he has actively pursued Russian interests even when in direct conflict with US interests and the interests of our allies.

It is your blog, you can cover whatever issue you choose, but every week you ignore this clusterfuck of a presidency undermines that credibility this blog once had.

I have no desire to control this blog. You all have dropped more than 3,000,0000 ranks globally since Trump was elected.

I have always been pro Kurdish.

And I have no doubt they are executing the PKK. Which, by the way, I have a major issue with. The Turks suck. Always have. Dishonest and self-interested.

But the PKK left “Kurdistan” years past and did/do their own thing. Not that the PUK and KDP do not. I get this.

But I have never seen CNN call the Kurds “Allies”. Any faction Kurdish for that matter. Under any administration, Democrat or Republican.

So clown, get lost. Unless you have fought with or beside them, then go away.

I spent a lot of time in Kurdistan and have a fondness for the people. With that being said , I don’t have much respect for the PKK. They didn’t do anything to help “us” in northern Iraq, the PDK and KDP did, so pay very close attention to who you are crying about!

I think I can speak for most of America when I ask, “Who are the Kurds and why should I give a shit?”

I know the history over there as much as any “GWOT-times” veteran. Still don’t care. To say that turning our backs on an allied tribe over there is going to “effect us for decades” is a bit overly dramatic, even for you. For fucks sake, we were in a 40+ year cold war with a country we’d just fought side by side with (and supplied with much war materiel).

Trump is doing what he said he was going to do. Pull us out of endless wars that few in the US give a shit about. Allegiances over there change with regularity. They all hate each other and they all hate us, some just hate us a bit less than they hate the others over there. We’ve got one true ally in the region and that’s Israel. We’re treaty-obligated to work with Turkey.

The POTUS has said, repeatedly, that he’s going to put American interests first. We’ve got enough shit going on here that we don’t need to be throwing money and blood into that shithole in the Middle East.

ISIS sleeper cells, – pockets of former ISIS fighters in territories under S.D.F control that cached their weapons and managed to blend back into the population – have reactivated.

    • Mason says:

So you’d like us to keep sending troops, supplies, and money over there? To what end? Have you learned NOTHING from Afghanistan? We’ll never get out of the quagmire. Sometimes you just gotta cut the line and call it a day.

If the people that live there don’t want to fight and die for it, then why should we?

Unless we conquer the country and make it the 51st state, it’s always going to be a source of pain and misery for us. Nobody in the US has the stomach or desire to be an actual imperialistic force, which is what it would take to conquer, annex, and then administer the place to our standards. Instead, it would have to be turned over to local leadership, which, because they all hate us, turns anti-American alarmingly quickly.

Picking friends in the Middle East is like picking which part of the soggy turd to pick up. There’s no “good” side, period.

Larsie no doubt was pissing and moaning about getting involved there, now he’s pissing and moaning about getting out.
