It’s time once again, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, for Boomer’s Sunday, where I cull through his weekly offering of ‘toons, and pick the best ten twenty forty fifty or so. Honorable Mention goes to my pal AW1 Scott, and our own Jeff LPH 3 63-66, who also provided some entertainment. These are from the right, but I am more than willing to post up differing points of view if they don’t annoy me. Now what could be fairer than that? So here we are, with the ‘toons that may amuse, make you think, or just piss you off.

BTW, I was Joe for 20 years. Substitute “phone” for electricity and add 20K to the $. Jim didn’t realize his cell phone & wifi is actually run by a cable going to a cell tower from a central office. Who’d a thunk?
Hmmm… You know what a degree in linguistics is good for? Typesetting and keylining copy in French, German and Spanish.
Navy experience as a photographer got me a job. After that, graphic arts: typesetting, keyline, pasteup. all I needed was skill in running a computer. Never had a problem finding OR keeping a job.
Hmm… I thought languages got me a job at NSA. Guess I was mistaken.
Civilian world, not government, David.
to be honest, I left the job at NSA to work in sales, which despite a few bad years, is paying my retirement now. However, the languages also came in handy working internationally!
We all find ways to use what we learned. I had many uses for those extra languages related to the work I did.

The one about “Beto” reminds me of the “Pendeja” video.
It’s a pity she doesn’t have enough sense to look that up on line. But “pendeja” suits her well, because she IS too stupid to look it up online.
I had to ask a (very good) friend of mine how to really insult someone in Spanish. She said I could use !pendejo puto puta! or I could try ‘gachupin’, which is equally naughty. Learn the slang and cuss words first, then no one will mess with you. 🙂

That’s the danger with doing parody – it usually gets out as not-parody and you look like the stupid thing you are trying to lampoon in the first place.
The reason why this happens more now than in the past is because the left has gotten so crazy they embrace openly what we used to make fun of.
Why doesn’t Rush Limbaugh do his parodies anymore? Because it would be the same as any real life news story. Libs have killed parody! 🙁
Some advice for anyone looking to get a college degree. Stick with business, law (includes paralegal which is what I’m studying), or anything that falls under STEM. That’s where you’ll find jobs if that’s the route you plan to take. Apprenticeships and vocational training are excellent routes to take as well (I actively encourage it because you not only can make good money but you can potentially operate your own business if you have the mind for it).
In a similar vein to the AOC one about her committee assignment and her credit score, the dems have elevated the following mensa members to the “intelligence” committee: Sheila Jackson Lee, Nads, and Hank Guam will tip over Johnson.
