“You Can’t Make This Up Part II”

Rep. Ayanna Pressley

Doubling down, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass. refuses to give up on impeaching Justice Kavanaugh despite a lack of credible witnesses (Stier worked as a Clinton defense attorney, and had legal battles with Kavanaugh during the Whitewater investigation. The lady involved has no recollection of the assault, and refuses to speak with the media), and is seeking an inquiry against the jurist. This move can only help to remind the public of what a travesty Kavanaugh’s original confirmation hearing became as the Dems resorted to character defamation as a way to block his gaining a SCOTUS seat. She’s not alone.

Billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer, Sen. Kamala Harris, D California, and others have not changed their position despite the NYT revision.

Harris opined, “The reality of Kavanaugh’s confirmation process is that it lacked any integrity — there has never been a meaningful investigation into these allegations. We need the truth.”

‘Squad’ member Pressley pushing Kavanaugh impeachment inquiry, despite allegation concerns

By Ronn Blitzer

Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., one of the four freshman congresswomen known collectively as the “Squad,” is planning Tuesday to introduce a resolution seeking an impeachment inquiry into Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, despite reluctance from top Democrats to pursue one and concerns about the basis for the latest accusations.

The resolution follows a New York Times report that included a new allegation of sexual misconduct from when Kavanaugh was in college — although an editors’ note later revealed that the alleged victim did not recall it taking place. In a statement, Pressley only focused on the women who came forward during Kavanaugh’s confirmation process.

“I believe Christine Blasey Ford. I believe Deborah Ramirez,” Pressley said in a statement shared by Boston.com reporter Nik DeCosta-Klipa, which Pressley retweeted from her official Twitter account. “It is our responsibility to collectively affirm the dignity and humanity of survivors.”.

No mention of the dignity and humanity of the man the left dragged through a cesspool of unverified, slanderous accusations. But that’s how they roll. The rest of the article may be viewed at Fox News

The left champions this “all you need is an accusation, not facts,” approach that should be an immediate red flag to voters. It sets a dangerous precedent in motion if unchecked.

They really need to start making politicians and the media pay dearly for this kind of conduct. And I mean *dearly.*

Start with personal lawsuits for slander and libel. And make them pay the court and lawyer costs in the countersuits. Deep pockets, and all that, ya know?

    Smart lady.

“Harris WHINED, “The reality of Kavanaugh’s confirmation process is that it lacked any integrity — there has never been a meaningful investigation into these allegations. We need the truth.””

There. Fixed it for ya. Yer welcome.

    • AW1Ed says:

Heh. Thanks Tox. I thought the quote interesting, as she seems to throw the Dems on Kav’s confirmation hearing under the bus by lacking “integrity.”

      I couldn’t agree more.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

The reality of Kavanaugh’s confirmation process is that it lacked any integrity – on the part of the Democrats and the media, never mind those outside the building.

Fixed it for ya, you malevolent cow.

    • CDR_D says:

Harris, Willie brown’s blow-up doll, talking about integrity is a hoot. She is a reprehensible skank who screwed her way to prominence.

  4. 26Limabeans says:

They are digging deep rather early. Imagine the
crap they will come up with a year from now.
The bag of tricks will be empty and they will
resort to violence in the streets. Bet on it.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

No surprise if it happens, but let us have a warning, Beans? Special protective clothing might be required.

      • 26Limabeans says:

        Chainmail will be in fashion.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

Oh, okay, I can get that at the Renaissance Faire. I figure if I save up for it all winter, I’ll only need the mail shirt and a football helmet.

        • rgr1480 says:

Gambeson! You need a gambeson under your mail, Ex-PH2; otherwise, you’ll chafe all your girlie parts.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

Oui, m’sieu, but it’s more likely I’d get a pinch from the links than anything else without a long=sleeved shirt and some quilted padding.

          • 11B-Mailclerk says:

A sturdy belt is also needed. You belt it tight over the mail, pull out the mail up somewhat, and let the slack hang over the belt. The weight of the lower torso/leg portion of mail thus hangs on the hips, not the shoulders. Helps quite a bit.

    • OWB says:

Yep. Just like other desperate animals fighting for their lives, this is almost guaranteed to get very ugly and very bloody. Not what the sane among us want, but unfortunately, the fools who are acting our their frustrations in public are about to become physically dangerous – when they realize that they lost the battle of words and have nothing left but taking out as many of us as they can.

      So sad and so unnecessary.

  6. Mason says:

“I believe Christine Blasey Ford. I believe Deborah Ramirez,” Pressley said

She doesn’t believe any of the women who have accused Bill Clinton or those who are on video being groped and sniffed by Joe Biden.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

I guess she didn’t read the transcripts of MOnica Lewinsky’s account when she was giving Bill Clinton a BJ in the Oval Office while he was on the phone with some official. What she said was quite graphic. That was all published in the newspapers in great detail. But I guess that doesn’t count, does it?

  7. 5th/77th FA says:

Anyone else find it odd that the howler monkeys are screaming about an alleged act that the purported victim doesn’t remember is more important than prosecuting a known cigar diddling sexual predator. And speaking of Whitewater, let’s re-open that one. Or any number of suspicious suicides. Or Benghazi murders, lies, false narrative videos.

I have commented in the past on my experience with false accusations. Is there any sitting SCOTUS Judge that has been investigated as much as Judge Kavanaugh?

    • Ex-PH2 says:

She’s on a bender because she faced Kavanaugh in court during the Whitewater hearings. She just wants to get “hers” back, whatever “hers” is.

She sure does look like a vengeful cow.

    • 26Limabeans says:

“Is there any sitting SCOTUS Judge that has been investigated as much as Judge Kavanaugh?”

I was going to say Clarence Thomas but he was
      not investigated for anything…just smeared
in a manner that became the Democrat’s Hallmark.

      • Mason says:

It worked on Bork. Thankfully Thomas was confirmed, since he was one of the best originalist Associate Justices. They tried it with Kavanaugh. They’ve been doing it now 30 years. They won’t change their tactics that it didn’t work a couple of times.

  8. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

Does anyone else find Kamala Harris offering an opinion on integrity ironically amusing?

This is why I adamantly oppose any laws that intrude further on our personal rights, because these rat bastards in the Democratic party are only too happy to abuse the system as hard as they can to get a result they like regardless of whether or not there is any legal ground to work upon.

This is the party whose president failed to send troops to the rescue in Benghazi and then had the balls to arrest a journalist for igniting that same firestorm. Due process and the concept of personal protection from the tyranny of the majority is lost on them.

It’s lost on a great many independents and some Republicans as well, but the Democrats almost to a voter seem to lack basic comprehension when it comes to these concepts.

    • The Other Whitey says:

The same Kamala Harris who sucked her political career out of Willy Brown’s dick, probably multiple others as well? The same one who champions slavery reparations despite the scion of a long line of slave owners in Jamaica? Whose personal conduct as State Attorney General of California was fraught with prosecutorial misconduct, suppression of evidence, and other nastiness?

    • Perry Gaskill says:

An interesting thing about Harris is that it’s not unusual for the news media to mention that she benefited from Willie Brown’s patronage by being his girlfriend. What’s rarely mentioned is that she and Willie were having a fling while Willie was still married.

Harris has also shown herself to be a relentless political climber; she apparently dumped Brown after he had introduced her to the players who could move her up the political ladder, and without having to stay in one office for very long. She’s also apparently pals with Governor Gavin Newsom; it’s been said that when Barbara Boxer decided to retire, a decision was made at a party level to have Harris take over Boxer’s U.S. Senate seat, and hand the governor’s office to Newsom. It could just as easily have gone the other way.

Here’s my own goofy theory: Harris is now regularly polling fourth behind Biden, Warren and Sanders. When push comes to shove at the Democratic Convention, there’s a good chance Harris will be picked as a vice-presidential running mate but only if Biden wins the nomination. It makes sense from the standpoint of diversity characteristics the Democrats like to push. The only seeming flaw is that it ignores an appeal to flyover country by having two candidates who are bi-coastal.

Pressley and the rest of the so-called “Squad” present a separate issue. So far, the Squad has been very vocal and in-your-face about national issues such as impeachment and the Green New Deal. At some point, it’s probably going to be fair for voters in the Squad-related congressional districts to start asking when the melodrama is going to stop, and specific benefits start getting directed to those districts.

Or it might not matter. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, for example, has now gained a lot of news media face time and celebrity traction. Even if she gets primaried out next year, the chances are good she’ll wind up with a lucrative gig as a media figure, or with a progressive NGO.

  10. RetiredDevilDoc8404 says:

Ms. Pressley of the moron squad, wonder whose turn it was to use the brain when she tweeted that pearl of wisdom. Of course she was schooled by some of the biggest buffoons around at the local level when she was a lowly city council member, Chuck Turner the rocket scientist who showed porn in a city council meeting as proof of the US military raping Iraqis and later appeared in a live interview after being arrested for bribe receiving with his fly down. She’s going to keep pushing and pushing, although maybe the DOJ should take a hard look at Blasey-Ford after her lawyer’s remarks and come down hard on them then go after the other trolls as well; might not politically correct, but it sure would be entertaining to watch the moron squad and the libs lose their minds over it. I’d pay money to see comedy like that…

  11. A Proud Infidel®™️ says:

The D-rat party is obviously ultra-desperate these days, I wonder what kind of chickenshit stunts they’ll pull next? I’m thinking that their continued harassment of Justice Kavanaugh is an effort to make him want to resign. Let’s face it, the left is scared completely shitless of President Trump appointing yet another Supreme Court Justice.

The longer this goes on, the more people see you for the power crazy douchebags you really are.
And when you’re party gets their collective asses handed to them in 2020, look in the mirror to see who’s to blame.

    • Cameron Kingsley says:

Unfortunetly, it will probably take more than that to get them to change their ways. However, I am confident that the American people are more than capable of doing just that. Especially since the left has a bit of habit of eating itself.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

CK, you’re probably closer to the reality of it than anyone else. They’re so busy finding fault with everything and making loud noises about (really nothing) it, that they are digging a hole for themselves.

Whatever happened to what we used to call statesmen?

      • Cameron Kingsley says:

Thanks, Ex. I try my best to stay focused on the bigger picture and remaining positive about the future. If you ask me, they wouldn’t be acting like this if they weren’t disparate. At the same time though, this is arguably when they are at their most dangerous as a cornered animal will typically try to fight. I believe things will get better but for right now we just got to ride the whirlwind and be ready to fight if need be (God forbid it ever comes down to that, it will be the Civil War 2.0).

Though I think it will be more lopsided than the first one and not the way some left leaning boneheads like the ones on Qoura seem to think. I do get a chuckle when they try to use the military in an argument about an armed uprising against a tyrannical government when the U.S. Military will most likely side with the people and they apparently forgot what happened in Vietnam. Yeah, a bunch of fed up citizens are a lot more dangerous than one might think. And when they try to bring up the fact that the Confederacy lost the Civil War, well, it certainly was no cake walk either and the context at the time was different from today so this situation will most likely be very different from the first one.

They should listen to what Agent Rick Dicker said to Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles II: “You want out of the hole first you got to put down the shovel.” Man, I love that quote.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

        You’re welcome.

I hope sincerely that this never comes to anything more than clashes of opinion and maybe protest parades, but you never know.

We are seeing people who are physically adults, but mentally/emotional have less self-control than a toddler throwing a tantrum. That’s a concern, because they don’t like it if they get hurt, but they’re willing to hurt “other”.

I think that, if anything, it will be in the cities, and it will be ugly, but the police will be on the front lines there. I doubt it will turn to military action. I’d love to see these twerps spend some real months in jail, but that’s just me. 🙂

Who will endure all the Donk bullcrap? Perhaps someone who wants to undo all the Proggy damage by strictly interpreting the Constitution? Perhaps “good and hard” ?

What is the likely result of their antics on someone who won’t quit? That thought never even occurred to them.

Essentially, they are bullies that imagine themselves invincible. What if they get someone who simply won’t be bullied into submission?

      Cavanaugh was the “soft” version.

      Trump is the “medium” version.

      There is a “hard” version.

I am not sure we want to get to a category 3 on the Court (or anywhere else). Those Donks need to dial it back. But they tend to double-down.

Level 1: “despite your best efforts, I won anyway. I will now do my best to be civilized despite your (poopy) behavior and show everyone that some folks are civilized.”

Level 2: You think you can crap on me an get away with it? I will beat you at your favorite game by out-playing by the rules, and make you look dumb.”

          Level 3 is:

American Greatness had a column which made essentially this point the other day. If you oppose the Deep State (or are seen as opposing it) then making a mistake when you are deposed by the FBI (evidence derived entirely from the notes agents take of the meeting) will get you charged with a felony.

On the other hand if you are seen as valuable to the entrenched bureaucracy you can lie as much as you want with impunity (cough Steele dossier cough) and never have to worry about facing a charge.

Republican control of the highest levels of government doesn’t seem to matter in purging the swamp creatures. Instapundit said something like “when the lower classes rebel, you get riots and when the middle classes rebel, you get revolutions”. Our permanent bureaucratic/political class is playing stupid games, and we all know what kinds of prizes you win with those.
