Despite Recent Mass Shootings, Man Enters Walmart “Call of Duty” Armed

| August 9, 2019

This meme comes to mind when someone decides to enter Walmart with a rifle, 100 rounds, and dressed up as if headed to a Call of Duty real-life enactment. (r/The_Donald/)

After the recent mass shootings, would any of you guys enter a frequently visited place, with a rifle, armed with 100 rounds, and dressed as a first shooter video game character? Well, The Sun brings us a story of a man who did just that.

Dressed up like he was getting ready to reenact Call of Duty, he enters Walmart, grabs a cart, and then walks through the store pushing the chosen cart. Throughout this whole time, he’s filming himself on his phone.

Was he acting as a deterrent in case anybody wanted to do a mass shooting? If that were the case, he did not factor human psychology in. As he was pushing his cart around, someone pulled the fire alarm. Folks made their way to the exit… Including our “star”. A firefighter pulls a gun on him and detains him.

Other Incidents reported in the same article…

The Springfield Police Department confirmed that the man had loaded weapons and more than 100 rounds of ammunition.

It comes one day after an unidentified man walked into a Florida Walmart shortly after 7pm on Wednesday and asked a clerk “for anything that would kill 200 people,” KIRO-TV reported.

“They announced over the intercoms for everybody to leave the store,” one shopper at the Port St. Lucie store told the station.

“One of the employees said there was a guy with a gun and that’s when everybody was running out.”

A store in Washington was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon when a man who appeared to have a gun walked in and threatened to open fire, KIRO-TV reported this week.

Police wouldn’t immediately say what threats were made and the department did not return a request for comment.

Early on Wednesday morning, a man was shot dead in the parking lot of a Walmart in Livermore, California.

Police said the suspect, Johnathon Michael Inocencio, 30, shot the victim in the torso at 4am then fled the scene in either a 2014 white Ford Explorer or a 2000 white and red Tioga motorhome.

Customers fled a Baton Rouge Walmart in panic on Tuesday when police said guns were drawn during an argument in the customer service line — initially reported to police as an active shooter.

It would be interesting to find out what this guy’s story is. As with the previous post, the article mentions the El Paso shooter and his “anti-Immigrant screed”. Not as enthusiastic for reporting the other shooter.

Additional details can be found on The Sun.

That twit is very lucky he isn’t dead.

If Jane Sample sees that thing in front of her in the parking lot on the way to enter the store, what jury convicts for her dropping the minivan in low gear and flooring it?

Fox article. He has been identified.

Interesting name.

I wonder what his score on the Official TAH Whiz Wheel®™️ Is?

Yeah, see people like that are going to make it impossible for people like me to go through the nonsensical hoops for a license, in order to purchase something for self-protection from unpleasant individuals and/or rabid coyotes or raccoons that I might meet on the trails around here.

If a Bernie bro and Warren bot shoot up a bunch of people who is to blame?

The guns, of course.

I mean come on…we can’t blame the creeps who did it…unless Trump can be blamed…

That is one hell of a shackle code score. This dipshit has won a stay in a PITA pound or the looney bin.

MI Ranger

My guess he is one of those “enthusiasts” who rants about Open Carry, and every chance he gets feels the need to flaunt it. He probably went to Chipotle in Colorado when they first announced their “Gun Free Zone” policy.
He obviously knew he had a target on his head, and purposely did not load the rifle, or put his hands anywhere near the guns (he had them in the air when the firefighter “citizen arrested” him) when he was confronted.
Yes, there is nothing common about Common Sense. That is why I keep anything I carry concealed. People are much more polite when they think you might be able to fight back, but aren’t sure!

No presstitute I have read so far has mentioned his politics.

That usually means “left”. I Wonder what will turn up?

11B-Mailclerk

So, he was “testing ” second amendment rights.

Keep digging folks.

Clearly loud. Where are the online postings? Keep digging.

Maybe nuts. Maybe stoner. Maybe just -epicly- stupid advocate.

Usafvet509

Good old Springfield. Why did I move here? News here says he was filming himself on his phone, and was interacting with others. Nothing about any threats, etc. Dumb, but not illegal. Agree with y’all, just keep it concealed

My, My, My

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, looks like he is not carrying a rifle, but rather an AR pistol. I think I am seeing a pistol brace.

Sapper3307

The second shooter that got smoked had an AR pistol also, it might be to confusing for the news.

Will be taking the Girls out tonite over to Oceans 1 in Down town Delray and of course my Springfield XDe .09MM will be with me.

rgr769

You must have a mighty small subcompact Springfield if it shoots a 9/100th millimeter bullet. I suspect you mean 9 millimeter (9mm).

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

Thanks rgr769, for some strange reason, I type in 09 MM instead of just 9MM. I think I’ll mike a round with my Starret Metric mike with a mechanical readout.

CCO

Someone old enough to carry a firearm is supposed to be responsible enough to not carry a firearm (openly) sometimes.

CCO

IE., if this was supposed to be a Second Amendment ‘test,’ this was not helping.

11B-Mailclerk

There are “gun bucket” rigs for carrying a carbine or shotgun slung on the back.

That would at least suggest “not actively using”

You can do this stuff with intent to aggravate, or with intent to be as gray/obscure as possible. The latter is usually the smarter way.

So is understanding that some folks are …. Not gun-friendly.
