A tangled tale of an armed, masked intruder who was hit by a shotgun blast
By Jim Guy
Police detectives are trying to sort through exactly what happened at a midnight shooting in northeast Fresno, where it was reported that an armed, masked intruder was repulsed by a shotgun blast.Lt. Mark Hudson said Thursday that conflicting statements at the scene are not making the job easy for investigators.
Officers arrived in the 100 block of East Portland Avenue at 11:54 p.m. Wednesday to check a call of an armed disturbance, said Hudson. They found an “involved party,” who said a woman’s estranged husband, wearing a ski mask, broke into the home, armed with a semi-automatic pistol and demanding to see his wife. When he pointed the weapon at the involved party’s girlfriend, the involved party fired a shotgun, striking the estranged husband in the arm. The wounded man ran from the home, and was taken by a third party to a hospital.

Three of a kind, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, with two morts, two healing up for their trials, and two in the wind, doubtless reconsidering their target selection process.
As I have stood in the crosshairs of those who target Second Amendment freedoms, I’ve realized that firearms are not the only issue. No, it’s much, much bigger than that. I’ve come to understand that a cultural war is raging across our land, in which, with Orwellian fervor, certain acceptable thoughts and speech are mandated.

“The victim fired his gun, striking Davis and stopping the assault.” Yep, that’ll usually do it.
Just keeps getting better and better, FIRST thing in the morning. An example of the designs of the Saintly John Moses Browning (Howitzer be his name), a three of a kind 3 pete with 3 pairs is always a winner, AND to top it off, a ginger haired loveliness sporting a bad guy ventilator. Life is good.
You da man AW1Ed. Brunch and the FIRST round is on me.

If the perp who got shot with the shotgun and lost his arm then he would be unarmed. I’m glad that Sammy Davis didn’t have a Jr. after his last name or the real Sammy D would be turning over in his grave.
