Jeremy Wilson who was convicted earlier in New York has now been sentenced in Massachusetts.
A former Boston-area man has been sentenced to served six to seven years in a Massachusetts prison, after he completes a New York sentence, for a weeks-long scheme to defraud numerous Massachusetts businesses, schools and municipal agencies., including the Cambridge Veterans Services Department.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said Jeremy Wilson, 45, now serving a 14-year sentence in a New York State prison, entered guilty pleas to charges of forgery, uttering false documents, three counts of larceny over $250, credit card fraud over $250 and being a common and notorious person. He was sentenced by Judge Kathe Tuttman in Middlesex Superior Court Friday. He will begin his sentence in a Massachusetts prison once he has completed his New York term.
His earlier conviction in 2017 was reported as follows:
Wilson claimed to be a US Army veteran with two Purple Hearts, and a doctor with two Ph.D.s from MIT. He allegedly stole an MIT corporate credit card from the campus mailroom and forged checks in order to lease a $55,000 BMW X3 in Boston. He later used the same fake identity to land a $5,000-a-month apartment in the Financial District.
It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy. The BMW was really uncalled for.

“Section 40. Almost good enough punishment for him. I first wondered, though, if Common & Notorious was kinda like bein’ a Deplorable.
A skinny little boy like him is gonna fetch Bubba & Thor at least a couple cartons of cigarettes, especially if it’s for someone to bust his cherry.
