Angelo Santopolo; phony SEAL
Our partners at Military Phonies share their work on this fellow Angelo Santopolo who claims to be a Navy SEAL, or maybe a Navel SEAL and that he attended a secret BUD/S class;
He actually served on two submarines, USS Raton, a Gato-class attack submarine and USS Ronquil, a Balao-class submarine. He served off the coast of Vietnam with the Raton as an electronics technician in the pay grade E-5, earning a Vietnam Service Medal, but no BUD/s training.
Based on Angelo’s summary Sheet shows that he did 4 years of active duty in the Navy. He was discharged as a ETR2 (SS), E-5 and did earn his Submarine Warfare insignia. There is no record of him attending BUD/S and NO SEAL Command.

Another day, another phony SEAL.
Why do a submariner have to make up lies about being a SEAL? Being a submariner is already dangerous enough; what is the fuck wrong with these people?
They don’t.
I’d personally ask that this guy have his fish ripped, cause this bullshit means he’s no brother of the ‘Phin in my book.
Earned his dolphin and served off Vietnam? Why fake SEAL? You had perfectly honorable service worth being proud of.
Cocksucker.
WTF? This guy was a rocket. Made 5 in four years, a sub sailor. No damn reason in the world to lie. None. Got record that will make most others envious. He should be dogging bubblehead sites, swapping BS with them. This guy I don’t get. He gains squat by his BS. Be happy you’re a bubblehead who made E5 in four years. Damn, man, explain this to me. You’ve got a damn fine record with no reason to try to be anything other than what you are. Damn …
Cold War submariner and Vietnam veteran, and it’s not enough. For some reason, with these guys, it’s just never enough…
Angelo John Santopolo (FRPR score of 256) is not a Vietnam Veteran. Vietnam Era, Yes. He never set a foot in country. That’s why there is no listing of being awarded the Vietnam Campaign Medal on his FOIA.
Same thing as standing on the pier in Santa Monica and looking west into the setting sun and saying “Hey, I think I see Vietnam. I must be a Vietnam Veteran.”
I remember the sun setting over the South China Sea in “The Green Berets”
John Wayne standing there on the beach. Last scene of film.
Now cut the crap, come clean and dog sub sites. They will be glad to have you and you won’t have to make up BS. You’ve really damaged yourself for no reason.
Bubblehead, and a pigboat sailor at that. The old school diesel boats even with a guppy upgrade were torture to deploy in, and less fun than could be had.
Dolphins, and E5 in 4 years is a solid record, clushed down the shitter with a lie about UDT, kinda makes you think how insecure some folk can be.
Maybe SEAL was Boat Code for “gonna go lay in my rack and rub one out”?
It’s seekrit SEAL training lingo for “Gonna go DORK THE SQUEAKHOLE in the Battery Compartment”…
ANGELO SANTOPOLO = COCKSUCKING ASSCLOWN
There are a lot of difficult jobs in the military that I know I never could have handled, and submariner is definitely one of them. Anyone who can do this job has my respect, and I’ll bet most people would feel the same way if they have any idea of what the job entails. The truth should have been badass enough for Angelo Santopolo, but it wasn’t.
I’m a height challenged individual who got phobic when the APC was buttoned up. Can’t fathom being in a sub, let alone the duty(ies) involved.
I see what you did there.
👍
I left this on the facebook page ofAngelo Santopolo, NOT a SEAL,: ” Every lie you tell, every act of posing that you commit, every photo of you having awards not earned, will get you famous. Every comment at the link below will get you a goooogle entry. Why must you stand in the blood of better men than you to claim unearned valor? Wasn’t being on a Sub enough for you?

We were docked at pier 12 Norfolk NOB and a Smoke boat was on the other side of the pier. I gather that they didn’t have room for this one over at the Destroyer & Submarine (D&S) piers which was near the pier 4 Geedunk stand. At lunchtime, i got off the OKIE and asked permission to come aboard their “ship”. I could not call it a Boat because I was not a Submariner. I mentioned that I was never on a Sub before and the OD had a Sailor give me the .25 cent tour. This was one of those post WW2 Guppy upgrades as mentioned by Milo in the above comment. We were tied up at the D & S piers one time and the USS Franklin was tied up on the other side to be sold as scrap from what we heard. Walking to the Geedunk stand in the winter, we could see the little plywood shelters on their “Quarter deck’s”. They must have frozen their butts off up there.
looks like he came in 4 months after I got off the OKIE 3. Not two many Seals this week. I wonder where he is from.
According to the Military Phonies link above, this poser is from Houston, TX.
What a dope. Why do they do this? I will never understand it.
Cocksucker.
“I served in the Navy.” = Good
“I was a Navy SEAL.” = Great
That’s why guys like this Marco/Water/Santo Polo lie. It’s no mystery.
Motherfucker. I would love to tear those fish off and pound them into your forehead. You bring shame to our community. I wish I had a record as good as yours, but no, that’s not enough. ESAD asshole.
See above, brah.
I AGREE WITH BOTH OF YOU
Well he’s deleting comments as fast as I can leave them. Sounds like an indication of guilt. Wonder how long before his Facespace page goes poof.
Goddamn Fuck Nugget.
Bait comment: Frogman? 1967? No class number? Were you in a secret class? There have only been a few. Was this one of them?
Angelo John Santopolo, phony Navy SEAL: Yep. Set this dip shit straight. Thanks.
BWAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAHAAAA! He fell for that hook, line, and sinker! 😆 For a man who has “Angel” and “Saint” in his full name, he sure as hell doesn’t live up to it. 🙄
He using the Poser fallback position on his Facebook page that his account has been hacked. How typical.
What’s next, is he gonna threaten to “lawer up”?
He also goes around imitating the late Bud Collins.
When I got to USS Seahorse SSN 669 in 1976, there was a Nuc electrician – David Colson (not sure spelling of last name) who was a navy SEAL in Vietnam – earned a Silver Star during a mission, never talked about it. He joined the submarine force long after Vietnam. He is the Only Sailor I ever met who had a Trident and Silver Dolphins.
My first born son served on the Seahorse (88-91) as his first boat.
He was also an MS.
Sewer Pipe Sailor…
More like “Pipe Cleaning” Sailor…
