NCOs fired from White House detail
According to Fox News, four Army non-commissioned officers (sergeants) were fired from the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) which runs technical support for secure communications, after it was discovered that, while in Vietnam, they brought women back to their hotels rooms.
The service members, according to The Post, could lose their security clearance or be court-martialed if found guilty.
In August, four other soldiers were booted from the specialized assignment when they brought women back to their hotel in Panama.
I guess they don’t learn their lessons very well.

Easy way to lose a clearance fast…
Alcohol and thinking with the little head instead of the big one have been the downfall of countless men since time immemorial.
And WHCA is extremely difficult to get assigned to. Really best of the best of commo folks. High pressure and constant, unpredictable, TDY.
Another case of there not being enough blood to operate both heads at the same time.
I don’t know what WHCA you are talking about, but my experience with WHCA is not the experience one would have working with the “best of the best of commo folks”. More like “some of the better, many of the mediocre”.
I am a geezer so the Era I’m talking about was 60s. A W2 that worked for me in the 82nd got drafted for WHCA and he was dang sharp. He raved about the troops and my brief encounters with them were good.
My bad for assuming things hadn’t changed … wouldn’t think that duty would slack but the Secret Service has fallen too.
Well then, how about that commo unit at McDill? Think it was called the Joint Communications Support Element? I was always impressed with them and their quick reaction. Tried to get in but assignment/slots never aligned.
Hardest part of getting into WHCA is the clearance, nobody cares about skills. A previous WHCA CSM was once my 1SG, the only words I have to describe him are “arrogant ignorant self aggrandizing total piece of non-communicating shit”.
They should be discharged for fucking commie whores while serving this great nation.

I would love to have such a position and have absolutely no track record and would never do anything like this and yet these clowns keep getting hired. Point being, I am sure I am not alone in that/track record as there are many of us who are qualified and would love such a thing/do well but whoever is making these hires is truly shit at their job as this just keeps happening in all departments. Lets see – the last 10 plus years of my career had an annual briefing – oh yeah – Trafficking in Humans. And it was mandatory for all military members, regardless of gender or rank. Moron’s like these will cause it to be every 6 months since it appears that the message just isn’t getting out there. I am SO glad that I’m retired from the military now. Of course, as we all know, sewage runs downhill, so that explains why we didn’t hear about any officer types getting relieved.
WAR STORY ALERT: I was offered an opportunity to apply for a job in the WH military office in about 71′ by a friend who served in it. I had worked with them on two visits to Hawaii where I was at CNCPAC as an admin NCO. He was really straight arrow type of senior NCO and I was a tad on the wild side E-6. After hearing the requirements I politely declined because I didn’t want to change my lifestyle. These folks should have known the standard going in. No excuse.
