Several armed people forced their way inside the condo, so the residents also grabbed weapons, according to Orlando police.
Shots were fired between the groups, and at least one of the suspects was hit, police said. Officers found the injured suspect at the scene.
It’s unclear how many other suspects were involved. Police said the suspects fled, possibly in a silver Volkswagen, before officers arrived.
No residents were injured.

Investigators say the man walked into the Zona Caliente Sports Bar at around 6:15 p.m. and got into an argument with the employee before fatally shooting him. An armed customer then confronted the shooter and shot him dead.
A third person was injured by broken glass. Her condition was not immediately available.
Arlington Police Lt. Christopher Cook said the patron who shot the initial shooter had a concealed carry license.
Lurker Curt sends a link from Boise, Idaho;
The homeowner reportedly arrived at the residence and found the suspects in the house.
It’s believed that the homeowner and suspects know each other.
Police said there was a disagreement and a fight involving a hatchet and a gun. The suspects were both injured with the hatchet and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
They were being treated at a hospital.
The homeowner wasn’t injured.

In a state that allows “Conceal Carry” in bars, wouldn’t you expect to find armed patrons in a Sports Bar? The bad guy killed one person but then was shot dead by a legally armed customer of the bar. And, if a thug isn’t very proficient with his firearm, he might be careful going up against a hatchet. Then suckers leave big dents and can chop bones.
Check out hatchet Hattie’s mugshot. Meth head
Yeah, bit of that happening here…
Dumbasses.
Texas does not normally allow any kind of carry in a bar, unless certain requirements are met. I believe that requirement is the main purpose of the business is serving food. I could be wrong though.
In Texas, you are NOT allowed to carry in an establishment that derives 51% or more of its income from alcohol. Even if you are allowed by law any employee can ask you to leave and you must leave, because if you refuse your simple misdemeanor ticket for trespassing turns into ‘trespassing with a firearm’ and you land in jail time territory. In order to get there, the guy carrying needed to walk past a warning sign at the door and probably another at the bar. That’s bad news for the LTC holder. The LTC holder will probably end up in a sling over this incident because he screwed the dog a bunch of ways before the occasion to draw ever arrived.
That’s assuming the sign met state legal requirements to be valid. MANY do not.
They are lucky that wasn’t Mel Gibson with that hatchet.

Three pleasant stories to start the day. Nicely done.
If they left in a VW, no telling HOW many there were….
