Bobo sends us a link from Olive Branch, Mississippi;

Cortney Mosley…said three or four men entered his home on Burton Road in Olive Branch on Sunday at about 2 a.m. The intruders demanded money and pointed rifles at the people inside the home.

Cortney said there were multiple family members inside, including his girlfriend Kemberly Scott and his uncle, 58-year-old Curtis Mosley.

Cortney said a fight broke out, and he watched as his uncle was fatally shot in the back.

“After the scuffle, I seen them shoot my uncle,” he said.

That’s when he said he grabbed his girlfriend’s pistol and shot two of the intruders. DeSoto County investigators identified the intruders as Deangelo Miquel Tinnin and Miriko Dairyell Simmons. Tinnin was shot and killed, while Simmons is listed as stable.

In Lakewood, Ohio;

Lakewood police say the off duty officer, from another police department, shot the man who broke into his house, wounding him in the shoulder. Lakewood Police also recieved calls from neighbors who heard the gunfire.

The burglar ran off, but was found by police in a yard on Clarence Avenue.

From St Louis, Missouri;

According to police, four suspects, ages 16, 17, 35 and 52, were in an argument with the mother of a 27-year-old in front of Froebel Elementary School in the 3700 block of Nebraska around 4:15 p.m. During the argument, the 27-year-old tried to intervene and was kicked and punched by the four suspects.

Fearing for her life, police said, the 27-year-old got out her gun and fired a shot, striking the 16-year-old suspect in the hip. He was taken to the hospital and listed as stable.

During the assault, the 7-year-old son of the 27-year-old woman was allegedly punched in the neck and shoulder by the 35-year-old suspect.

All suspects were taken into custody

Given the disparity in ages of those involved in the St Louis incident, one can only deduce that the source of the conflict involved either drugs or nalgas.

RIP Mr. Mosley…at least one of the pieces of garbage received immediate sentence for what he did.

Why should citizens be armed? Because thugs have no respect for life, nor for one goods. This is an example: “Cortney said a fight broke out, and he watched as his uncle was fatally shot in the back.”
Yes, “Fatally Shot”. Fortunately it ended there when one of the homeowners pulled his legal weapon and shot a couple of the miscreants, making one dead where he fell.

Don’t know why it took so long for him to make use of that pistol.
