Gary Sinise is a CLASS ACT.
Do you know who *ISN’T a class act and is not a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer (honorary)?
Anyone?
Anyone?
Bueller?

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

MISTAH KOTTAHHHHH! MISTAH KOTTAHHHHH!!!!

Carlton G. Long

You’d better not be referring to CPO Sharkey, because he rocked.

Doc Savage

Wait…..I think I know this….

Does it rhyme with “no gas in the wing tanks”?

HMCS(FMF) ret

Sounds like “no gas”?

Instinct

I don’t know. Let me think about it while I give my bird a bath…

Atkron

A man I’d be proud to shake hands with and address as Chief.

Carlton G Long

Don’t forget about Chief Ryback.

Bob Schoeler

Oh yeah! An actor should also be up for the award.

Silentium Est Aureum

Thank you for all you have done for us, Mr. Sinese. Words cannot express our gratitude.

Mick

Concur.

If only more ‘celebrities’ would follow his lead…

Commissioner Wretched

Great, great video about a great man.

Where’d all the dust in this room come from?

IDC SARC

BZ!

FuzeVT

I met him in 29 Palms after a Lt. Dan Band show. He is absolutely a class act!

Thank you, sir!

Graybeard

Good job, Mr. Sinise.

Deplorable B Woodman

I watched the video. Damned allergies. Musta got dusty in here suddenly.

One of the few Hollywood I would be proud to shake hands with.

Andy11M

Wow! An actual Honorary CPO. Unlike someone we all know and “love”.

Ex-PH2

Nicely done!

The Other Whitey

Not something I would usually say about an actor, but I wish I could be even 1/10 the man Gary Sinise is.

To whom much is given, much is also expected. He exceeds all expectations.

BRAVO ZULU to Gary Sinise/Lt Dan! A REAL DEAL CPO and MARINE (both Honorary)!

AS TO one NON-CPO disbarred lawer that has a court case for STALKING on April 17th – hope he enjoys the COCKMEAT SAMMICHES and the prison wedding that he’s definitely earned!

Arby

No one can fill Bob Hope’s shoes, but he is doing a damn good job trying.

David

‘way high on the list. Lots of folks who ask for no recognition that the media never calls out for kudos, Lt. Dan leads he way.

Hack Stone

Two questions. First, does he have a private pilots license? And if so, can he read a fuel gauge?

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Thank you Mr. Sinise, we certainly recognize and appreciate the hard work you put in behalf of our veterans….

Eden

That’s awesome!

2/17 Air Cav

Sinise is wrong about one thing. In the video above, he refers to the 1% and clearly excludes himself. I know hat he means. but he’s wrong. His service and his personal sacrifice on behalf of Veterans, especially our wounded, and AD puts him squarely within the 1%. There will alwys will be LT Dan.

HMC Ret

Class, pure and simple. No one else in Holly Weird, IMO, can hold a candle to LT Dan.

Steve

huh…there ya go, so not all actors are whinging tools.

AW1Ed

Not sure what else to say, except thank you, Gary.

HMC Ret

I would be proud to have him in the Chief Mess and proud to call him Chief. LT Dan has done tremendous good work for the troops.

A Proud Infidel®™

LT Dan is living breathing proof that there are still real people out there these days.

It would not surprise me that Mr. Sinise would like to turn this down.

The reason I say this is because nothing – and I mean nothing – Sinise has done in this area has been to attract attention to himself. In some ways, I think he would rather have the focus remain on the vets rather than himself.

He’ll accept this, of course, but I suspect that he will use the award as a platform to continue to focus on vets and not himself or even the people with whom he works.

Good men and women don’t do things because they are looking for rewards, medals or recognition. They do them because they need to be done.

Sinise is a good man.

The Old Maj

Well deserved. Wish there were more like him.

The level of respect commanded by Lt Dan is beyond words.
It’s like trying to describe Alaska to people that have never seen it.
You start with the word magnificent and go up from there.
Thank to to Mr Sinise for all the good he has done for all of us and America as a whole…
We are truly blessed to have someone as good as him in America.

Gary Sinise falls in the same category as Bob Hope. Someone from Hollywood (one of the very few) who actually deserves to be admired.

I saw Bob Hope at Maxwell AFB years ago. We were having a Dining-Out as part of the Command and Staff College program. Mr. Hope was going to be in Alabama, and in keeping with his usual practice when traveling near military locations, his people checked with the Air University to see if there was anything going on at the same time. On learning about the Dining-Out, they asked if Mr. Hope could stop by. Bob rearranged his schedule and appeared as an unexpected guest at the Dining-Out, entertained us for about 20 minutes and then left for his other appearance, all done gratis. It was just something he did. Gary Sinise comes from the same mold.

OUTSTANDING HUMAN BEING! LT. DAN
