Devil Dog Firearms rebuilding after Stolen Valor scandal.
Last year, Jonn posted about the ordeal here.
For the company, the road ahead will be challenging. When it shut down, some $500,000 in inventory remained — high-quality AR rifles with custom finishes and elegant features. But in most ways, the small team is starting from scratch. On the Devil Dog Arms website, a message announces that the company is accepting applications for “senior management, gunsmiths, machinists and sales.”
Apparently, the investor who outed Joe Lucania for Stolen Valor has decided to re-launch operations as opposed to selling off the equipment and inventory. Marine RECON veterans Rudy Reyes and Walt Hasser have been brought into the company as development and brand representatives.
That seems to be good news for all those who lost their jobs because of the Stolen Valor scandal. This is another example that Stolen Valor is not a victim-less crime.

Wish them well.
They brought in some good names then. Best of luck to them.
Good luck to them! With top notch guys like Rudy Reyes and Walt Hasser on board, they will go a long way to building a solid outfit again.
Not a victimless crime: no, people lost their jobs over that. I’m glad they are able to start up again.
As an unrelated question, why when I open any article on this site, do I see that ugly hag Clinton right below the title of the given article? Is there any way to turn that nasty shit off?
It sounds like you need to clean your cache memory.
Go to http://www.CCCleaner.com and download the cleaner.
It’s free and it is all I use for virus protection.
I go through my computer about once a week and clean it.
There is a professional version for about 20 bucks and it is well worth it.
Best to you on this most historic day of days of my lifetime…
May want to download “Spybot search and Destroy” just in case you have ‘bot in yur browser.
I hate to tell you this, but if CCleaner is “all you use for virus protection,” you have no virus protection at all.
CCleaner is not a virus cleaner, scanner or protector against computer virii. CCleaner gets rid of cookies, history, etc. It does not do virii.
From the Piriform website:
CCleaner can’t detect or remove viruses, spyware, or malware.
https://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/introducing-ccleaner/what-it-can-and-cant-do
The above mentioned “Spybot Search and Destroy” is good for blocking some virii, but not all as it’s signature file is not updated enough. It is better for detection rather than prevention.
Malwarbytes is another good tool to have in the toolbox. The free version will scan and clean on command and discover lots of nasty things (malware, virii, ransomware, etc) The paid version blocks in real time and is an actual anti-virus software.
But you really should have anti-virus software on your system and CCleaner is not it.
For free anti-virus, look at Avast!, Zone Alarm, AVG, and Commodo or others that get decent ratings.
For paid versions, people like Norton and McAffee, but Kapersky (sp?) and BitDefender are much better, less intrusive choices.
WindowsDefender is not a great choice although it is free and comes with Windows ver 7 as something you have to install and enable and already installed and enabled in Win8, 8.1 and 10.
Good luck to you!
If Jonn doesn’t get his ass back to work soon expect to see a lot of adds from Hooters.
Like that’s something evil and bad? I LIKES ME SOME YOUNG WIMMINS IN THOSE SHORTY SHORTS!!!
First thing I’d do is to change the name of the business. Something along the lines of “The REAL Devil Dog Firearms, formerly owned by a Piece of Shit.”

Should have dropped the company name and created something new. I’m always suspect about openly veteran shit now.
