Why are the green olives in jars and the black olives in cans? Raciss!
That’s a good question, but it only applies to specific species of olives. The big green olives that are stuffed with pimiento chips, cheese or jalapenos or garlic cloves are (I think) Spanish, as are the black or ripe olives in cans.
However, Kalamatas. which are Greek and also black/ripe, come in glass jars and in plastic tubs.
Durnit, IDC_SARC, now I have to do all the homework on olives. I’m goona get you for this one.

Yes, I saw that on the mid-day news. She had a massive cardiac event on a plane and went right to the hospital, but never recovered from it. Sad.
I prefer to think that news of what their son did to Han just reached her and broke her heart.
The unprecedented, unforgivable, and as-yet unavenged (as that son of a bitch JJ Abrams is still breathing) murder of Han Solo completely destroyed my faith in “Star Wars.” Then “Rogue One” happened, and restored a lot of it. So now I figure the “main” storyline is dead anyway, but side stories like “Rogue One” remain alive and well.

Well, it looks as though all those obnoxious children whose parents pay no attention to what they do decided that they were going to have ‘rumbles’ in various shopping malls in various cities from Connecticutt to Colorado yesterday, 12/26/16. The supposition is that it was loosely organized on social media, and involved bringing in the real cops to handle the problem.

You do have to start asking where this started, and who started it, because those arrested were all teens, from 13 through 18. Where were their parents? And why did no one pick this up and report it ahead of time? And how many of these little snots lied their asses off to mom/dad and are now sitting in jail, waiting to be bailed out? I’d say make them sit there overnight. This is disturbing.
“Where were their parents”? Watching the video from several of the malls, I would bet that most of their mommas were still sleeping. The daddies are probably unknown, unseen and unheard from.

There is a planet not too far away that they could be sent to. Unfortunately, Starbux does not have a franchise there as yet, nor are there any pizza joints or other sorts of watering holes. But there are oxygen and water of some sort, so they’d be fine. They’d have to wait 4+/- years for answers to questions, but what’s a little interstellar distance if you have your own world to live in?
