Tuesday morning feel good stories
A homeowner in Mount Dora, Florida returned home to find a group of four men stealing his property, so he grabbed his gun and turned loose a volley of bullets on them. All of them fled and the homeowner isn’t sure if he hit any of the crooks and police are still looking for them.
Two masked and armed men tried to rob a gun store in Cobb County, Georgia when they opened. The owner, however strange it may seem to you, was armed and shot at both of the criminals. One was DRT (dead right there) and the other escaped on foot.

I’ve heard of that one. It is beyond my comprehension why someone would actually try that, or think it would have any measure of success for the robber, or indeed that it would result in anything other than the robber’s death.
There are several gun shops in my OA. One has a no gun policy for it’s employees. Another has a sign with “Nothing in here is worth your life” with a bullet pierced target.
Guess which one never gets hit by robbers? Hint- the same one I frequent.

I feel bad for that mother. She didn’t deserve what her son did to her. And on Christmas, too.
