These people have mental issues.
I like the one about charter schools. The first post declares that this is a Republican talking point that doesn’t belong on DU. Later, somebody laments that charter schools can hire and fire teachers as they please, which breaks teacher unions. As a public school teacher, I have to ask…what’s the problem with that?
Well, none of them have gone for the jugular, as far as I could tell, so which lapdogs are we to be concerned about?
I’m confused. They almost seem vaguely civilized this morning. What’s wrong with them?

They are crazier than ever. Read “The enemy of my enema…” and “then they went after the commie green party.” These people need to be locked up.
It was strangely tame considering the last 24 hr news cycle hasn’t been particularly kind to Mr. Trump. I had trouble assembling much content…there does seem to be a bit of Hillary fatigue over there on the election forums, but the moderators are weeding out dissent. Bernie supporters are feeling about as wanted as a box of condoms at an Indigo Girls concert these days.
Take a gander at “The Gold Standard” thread. Cripes Talk about a festering fuckfest of falsehoods. It’s a circle jerk of incredible bullshit, with each DUer trying to outdo the other in tales of relatives who served or almost served. I like this one: “My own sons never had to serve although my older son tried to enlist in the Navy after completing his university studies. At that time, the Navy was not taking new applicants (he would have been eligible for officer status). I consider that refusal fortuitous as he would likely have been conscripted for Bush I and Bush II wars – ALL of which I personally opposed.”
