Wednesday morning feel good stories

An elderly woman in Dayton, Ohio thought that a person was trying to break into her home. According to police, before he and his accomplices could get into the home, she discharged her firearm in his direction. The article isn’t clear on the injuries he sustained, but he is in the hospital and seriously injured.

In Providence, Rhode Island, several thieves targeted a house for reasons the police won’t disclose. One of those thieves was DRT (dead right there) when the police arrived. Two of the residents were arrested, but, again, police won’t say why. An update to the link above says that police also confiscated some pot plants from the target home, so…..

A homeowner in Anaheim, California saw someone inside his car, so he took a shotgun to investigate. An altercation occurred and the homeowner discharged his weapon. The other guy wandered off and collapsed nearby where police found him and sent him to the hospital were he was determined to be DOT (dead over there).

GDContractor sends us a story that happened in Dallas, Texas, where a business owner heard burglars breaking into his business, so he crept to where they were and caught them stealing his cash. He let loose with a couple of rounds and the thieves left at a high rate of speed. Later some folks dropped off 29-year-old Jacoby Tremone McCoy at the hospital with a gun shot wound. Police tied him to the robbery. Young Jacoby is in serious condition, but not as serious as he will be when he recovers.

A couple of parents in Covington, Georgia, escorted their son to the police when he told them that he had tried to rob a bank in Conyers, Georgia. The police were appreciative.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, two drug dealers have been found dead, one killed by police, the other’s body was dumped alongside the road. Well, the President-elect warned them, didn’t he? The Australians report there have been five so far.

AW1Ed and Dave send us a link to a story from France where some thieves tried to rob a MacDonald’s. Unfortunately for them, there was a group of elite soldiers eating there. After the restaurant cleared of patrons, the soldiers tackled one of the thieves and held him for police. They shot another one center mass which seemed to slow him down some.

Good citizens, ( and some not so good citizens), protecting what is theirs, and being quite successful. Several wannabe career criminals have been taken out of that work force, making some areas just a little bit safer.

I’m not a lawyer nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn. Generally speaking, you lose your self-defense protection if the incident occurs during the commission of a crime. (See Law #1 of the Law of Self Defense http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/06/zimmerman-case-the-five-principles-of-the-law-of-self-defense/ ) Sucks to be those dope smokers in Rhode Island. I can foresee murder, assault and weapons charges coming down the pike.

Maybe this will help France reconsider their gun control…. No who am I kidding, import more savages please.
