Saturday morning feel good stories

Eugene Padilla got into an altercation with another criminal in Albuquerque, New Mexico, over their drugs, so Padilla shot his fellow drug addict in the leg. Two Good Samaritans nearby witnessed the shooting and tackled Padilla and held him with their own guns until the police arrived to take custody of the career criminal.

In Montecello, Georgia a homeowner confronted an intruder with his firearm and shot the fellow. The intruder ran outside and collapsed in the yard where the police found him. He was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital.

A construction worker was doing his job outside a Lake City, Florida restaurant when he was approached by a teenager who asked him for some money. The fellow working for his money told the kid ‘no’ and the teen left. The youth came back later and pulled a gun and demanded money. The fellow who was working for his money pulled his own handgun out that he bought with his money and fired two bullets, which he had also paid for with his own money. The teen dashed off, unhurt. Police are still looking for him. The construction worker was properly licensed in the state of Florida to carry a concealed firearm.

Donald David Farrior Jr., 22, and Raheem Christopher Rogers, 23 broke into a home in Sampson, North Carolina. The homeowner saw them break in and he was waiting for them. Rogers, who was armed with a machete, got perforated by gunfire – so the pair left. The police rounded them up at a traffic stop and took Rogers to the hospital. It seems that Rogers just began 3 years on parole for indecent liberties with a child and felony B&E after being handed a suspended sentence just a few weeks ago.

In Port Allen, Louisiana, 32-year-old Kelly Cline and some friends broke into a home and demanded money from the homeowner. When they decided that he didn’t have enough cash on him, the homeowner offered to get more from his car. Instead the sneaky victim brought a gun back and shot Cline twice. Cline was DRT (dead right there). The others escaped and the unharmed homeowner wasn’t charged.

Aaaah, stories of people refusing to be victims, and people coming to the aid of victims, sure make the morning coffee just a little better.

Now, I have to ask, Mr Cline of LA, what are you doing, leaving your weapon in your VEHICLE?

Pinto Nag

Re-read story. Cline’s the criminal, the homeowner was the one who went out and got the gun out of the car. Pertinent question about the gun, though.
