Monday morning feel good stories

| May 9, 2016

I guess all of the newsroom crews were out enjoying the weather this weekend and not covering the news in their communities, but here’s an update to a story from last week from Bradenton, Florida where a man confronted four or five burglars in his home. He was wounded, but he killed one of the crowd, Emanuel Johnson was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. Now, his pal, Courtney Lawrence has been arrested for his part in the home invasion. Lawrence’s nickname was “Murder” which he had tattooed on his neck – now that’s what the charge is against him – the murder of his pal, Johnson.

This fellow has been training;

The mistake I noticed was that he took the gun from the second guy, tossed it aside, then he threw the guy on top of the discarded firearm.

It looks like he dropped the mag out of the perp’s pistol before discarding it.

I believe you right about the magazine, but if it has one in the pipe, then it’s still combat effective (for one shot).

Old Trooper

true dat

David

maybe not, there is such a thing as a “magazine disconnect” on many guns which renders them inop while the magazine is out. Usually a royal PITA, and they tend to ‘fall off’ many guns, especially Browning HiPowers. Assuming a gun has one is not a path to longevity; many guns work just fine without a magazine.

That doesn’t look like a “home” to me? looks more like a fast food place?

I needed a couple feel good stories after learning about how James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut lied about his service in Iraq and lied about being in Beirut.

CWORet

That’s right, Derbil-Dawg. James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut is a LIAR and a VALOR THIEF!

Roh-Dog

If that was meant for me I’m unfamiliar with that word andI can only presume by context I’ve annoyed and for which I’d like to offer my apologies.
However if it confers an award of some sort I’m afraid I don’t rate such complements.
I do not lie about the accolades I’ve earned nor my service, unlike James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut.

CWORet

Oh, not the case at all. I assumed you were a Marine like myself, and that was just a TerminalLance kind of play on Devil Dog. I was enjoying myself a bit too much, I fear, dog-piling on James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut (LIAR and a VALOR THIEF) to keep him TAH and internet google-able. Certainly meant no offense to you, good sir!

Roh-Dog

Chief,
Tracking. I was Army Infantry and got a shit-ton of respect for the Corps, do more work with the MCL then I do for any other nonprofit.
IMHO it ain’t a dog-pile to point out that James Fritch in Plainfield Connecticut lied about his service but I don’t have the best judgement on the face of this planet. Still, I know in my heart that James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut lies.

Bill M

Wait! Are you saying that James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut is a lying POS and a valor thief? Why I’ve heard that too. We are talking about the Plainfield Connecticut James Fritch, the liar and valor thief, correct?

Roh-Dog

It’s finals so my apologies for not responding back quickly. To answer your question Plainfield Connecticut native James Fritch did embellish. The one and the same Plainfield Connecticut James Fritch that claimed to be in Iraq. James Fritch, Plainfield Connecticut, also lied about being in Beirut during one of our nation’s greatest tragedies. I would like to talk about James Fritch of Plainfield Connecticut all day but I have an exam at 8. Please use the following link if you would like to discuss James Fritch and his base of lies known as Plainfield Connecticut. https://www.google.com/search?q=this+aint+hell+james+fritch&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari#hl=en-us&q=this+ain%27t+hell+james+fritch
