Monday morning feel good stories

| April 4, 2016

A man broke into a home in Battle Creek, Michigan, but he was confronted by the homeowner who was armed. The resident tried to hold the man at gun point, but he slipped away. Police found him skipping merrily through the yards of other homeowners and offered him new accommodations.

An off-duty Louisiana State trooper detective in Ascension Parish awoke to a neighbor’s warning that someone was breaking into his unmarked patrol car. The detective armed himself and went to confront the thief. An altercation ensued and the criminal told the officer that he had a gun and that he’d use it. When the burglar reached in his waist band, the detective pulled his own gun and shot the fellow in the abdomen. The thief is being treated at the hospital.

Skipping merrily in Battle Creek. I’d like to know what he was on, where he got it, and how much it cost.
