Loughner sues Giffords
Crackpot Jared Lee Loughner the fellow who shot several people five years ago in Tucson, Arizona is suing one of his victims, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords for the emotional distress that she caused him. Among some of the charges are;
• Giffords was never shot. He claims it was all an act she learned by watching Ronald Reagan movies.
• Loughner is being waterboarded every day by agents from the NSA, CIA and ATF.
• Microchips have been placed in his head and he is the victim of a worldwide conspiracy.
• Giffords is part of the Illuminati, a supposed secret organization of the most powerful people in the world.
• Loughner is being targeted with chemtrails, which have made him sick and delusional.
Yeah, but did she throw screws in his driveway, tip over his garbage cans and throw coconut IEDs in his yard?
Loughner who is serving seven life sentences, didn’t use the proper form for his lawsuit, so it can be rejected based just on that, but I’m thinking that he has time to type it all up again.

I agree with him, he has cause and those are legitimate reasons for him to be stressed, therefore it behooves us as a civilized nation to put the little bas-ard OUT OF HIS AND OUR MISERY!

This story reminds me of my old pet peeve regarding the maniac’s shooting spree. There were six people killed, including a nine-year old girl. Giffords was one of about two dozen people who were wounded. Hers seems to be the only name that ever comes up, though. We know more about her husband, the spaceman, than we know about the murdered six.
I’m willing to bet that this is the work of Jonathan Lee Riches. He was behind the hoax Uber suit referred to in the linked article, and countless other hoax suits.

Alright. I’m a relative regular here, and again have to play OPFOR. Guys and gals, he’s sick. Loughner is very, very mentally ill. It’s functionally no different than pneumonia or liver failure in that he’s got a physiological problem with his brain. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and has a lawyer that isn’t doing right by him by allowing this manifestation of his illness to go public. I don’t deny that he hurt people; And that he’s a danger to himself and society and needs to be locked up until he’s safe. That said he needs to be cared for and protected. As a society, we care for those who are less fortunate than ourselves, and we are all fortunate enough to have decent brain chemistry and upbringings. (Relatively; we DID all join the military! ;). ) Cut him some slack. He’s nuts, and his lawyer let this get out. If there’s fires to be directed, aim it at the shitbird legal type who’s not protecting his clearly incapacitated client’s dignity and privacy. //Puts on helmet and waits for incoming fire….again. 🙂
No, ANCCPT, you can stand up. It’s all clear. One look at the guy and you know he’s not there. There is no question that he is mentally ill. All of the signs of a deeply disturbed and dangerous fellow were apparent to those who not only knew well but to those who knew him casually. In time, he deep ended, acting out on his delusions, with horrible consequences for many. As I recall, however, the chief debate following the shootings was whether he was a conservative or a liberal…

We all know Loughner is nuts. Others have known much longer than any of us have known. Proving it again and again in the public arena is not necessary and a complete waste of everyone’s time.
If you are the media, it is not enough to just know that he is crazy. They need to know just HOW crazy was he and WHAT KIND of crazy was he.
They need to do a A&E Biography – type special and interview all his friends, neighbors and classmates from 8th grade English class who will tell you that he chewed erasers off of pencils but other than that seemed normal.
When I watched an episode of “Daniel Boone” (Fess Parker) when I was a kid, Boone’s sidekick Ess (Victor French) explained it like this – “There are only two kinds of crazy. One where you strip down naked, crawl up on a big rock and howl at the moon. The other is when you do it in my back yard.”
But no, it can’t be that simple to many. They need to explore stuff that happened to him when he was little like when his pet frog died when he plunked it into a glass of Mountain Dew. There had to be environmental factors that made him a victim. There had to be people that are responsible for his craziness and let’s start with the parents.

It’s all connected, but plenty of folks come from messed up families and don’t become mass murderers. It is also possible to become so mentally ill that any legal issue is a moot point.This is one of those times. He needs a padded room, not a jail cell.

Maybe he needs a really talented lawyer, someone who can empathize with him, a “soul advocate” or a sort. Hehe, and typing it all up, again, and again puts him in the similar class action as BunnyPants Dan.
Timothy McVeigh claimed that he had a chip implanted in him, I wonder if Loughner isn’t copycatting that? His “lawsuit ” is as fucked up as The Dutch Rudder Gang!
