Arizona Trump rallies

Instinct sent us that picture above of some folks who aren’t Trump supporters as they drove by a Trump rally yesterday in Arizona. You’ve probably seen the video of folks blocking traffic on a busy freeway yesterday that led to a Trump Rally.

rally20n-2-web

According to our buddy, Gateway Pundit, in Tucson, anti-Trumpers wore KKK hoods to the rally and they were shocked when Black Trump supporters beat their puny asses;

Trump rally

In a video, the fellow tells us how he was “sucker punched” at a Trump rally for wearing a KKK hood, but at a Sanders rally he didn’t get punched, he probably didn’t wear a KKK hood at the Sanders rally either.

Everyone knows how I don’t support the Trump candidacy, but, you know these stank-ass hippies are making it much more palatable to pull a lever for him if I have to.

My mother used to tell me if I went looking for trouble I would find it. Who in their right mind wears a KKK hood at a public rally these days; particularly if it is not a KKK rally? The primary reason for Trump’s success is the American people are fed up with all of the crap that has been going on in Washington for decades.

Silentium Est Aureum

Not just what’s been going on inside the Beltway, but how quickly and how far politicians of all stripes are being over and spreading their cheeks for whoever promises their votes.

And God forbid someone should call these assholes out for what they are. However, use the race card enough and it loses all meaning, as it is here.

OWB

Funny that the useful idiots show us their lack of rational thought when they claim that their actions prove something about their opposition: “We came here to disrupt the Trump rally, and did it. We went to a Sanders rally and just listened without disrupting it. So that PROVES how violent Trump supporters are!” Sounds like an admission of criminality, looks like an admission of criminality, and sure enough, it IS an admission of being a willfully ignorant PoS.

No surprise there. It’s the same tactic that has served the left well for a century or so. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone would applied RICO to these clowns? Organized criminal activity is exactly what it was enacted to address.

There’s a thought!

1st Amendment is a bitch isn’t it? No matter how much the members of this board and Trump supporters hate protestors, peaceful protesting is LEGAL and protected by the constitution you all claim to love so much. Blocking traffic is illegal, and they were arrested and/or cited depending on the circumstances or their level of participation. The black Trump supporter DID NOT punch the guy with the KKK hood. He punched a DIFFERENT Trump supporter. One that had nothing but a sign with Trump’s picture that said “Trump is bad for America”. I find it weird you would act like it was somehow justified or he asked fir it to get beat for that. Such a double standard. I guess getting beat up for your political views or exercising your 1st Amendment is fine if the person getting beat up is perceived to be a liberal (AKA stank-ass hippie). Protesting is happening at Hillary and Bernie rallies as well. Just not to the extent because Bernie and Hillary are not acting like an openly racist, misogynist, Islamophobic fascist. Hillary’s fascism and history of racism is more subtle. She is not an Islamophobe because she knows the whole Islam threat rhetoric is extraordinarily exaggerated and being used as political manipulation for public support for a larger and more pervasive domestic security apparatus. Bernie is neither a racist or a fascist or a Islamaphobe. Though there are a few groups that have tried to claim he is a sexist and a few that say he is anti-Palestine. Pro-Palestinian groups have protested Bernie. The point it protesting is legal and protected by the 1st Amendment. Celebrating protestors getting beat or claiming they asked for it for protesting shows how you only care about constitutional rights when they or your rights or the rights of people like you. I personally LOVE protestors. Even the stupid ones I disagree with. Because peaceful protesting PRESERVES the activity in the public consciousness. It reminds us of our right and power to protest. And conservative protestors, due to their frequent ties to religious speech and use of political… Read more »

Lars you are Wrong on who he punched, he and his buddy where both inciting violence, I was there I also have video and both of these shitbags got what they wanted.

Skippy

now they can go back to there stank ass hippie house off of 4th ave. and cry for some more health care to fix there mental anguish…

HMC Ret

Skippy: I’m thinking many of them will return to mom’s basement. We’ll see them again during weekday protests. It’s not as if they have a job to go to.

Casey

Skippy, Lars won’t believe you. His mind has already been made up.

Hondo

The First Amendment is not without limits, Taylor. Intentionally blocking a public highway w/o a permit is generally a criminal act, not a legitimate protest. And I also seem to remember something regarding free speech and “fighting words”.

Bottom line: at some point, freedom of speech and assembly MAY INDEED be limited. That point generally is reached when the speech/action in question either incites violence or unduly infringes on the rights of others.

It works both ways. These actions would have been wrong – and legally problematic – whether they occurred while protesting either Trump or Sanders.

You also really need to work on your reading comprehension. Jonn never said that the idiot individual wearing the KKK costume had no right to do do that. He merely observed that the fellow was an idiot to do so – and was doubly an idiot when he acted surprised that a black American seeing him wearing it might be offended enough to punch him.

Jonn’s absolutely correct. Anyone with the IQ above that of a turnip should be able to figure those two things out.

And no, I won’t apologize to anyone for smiling when some idiot wearing a KKK robe gets their ass kicked. Personally, I have little use for either the KKK or anyone stupid enough to dress in their regalia. If someone wearing that foul racist uniform gets their butts kicked, it actually makes me happy.

Silentium Est Aureum

Shhhhh…Hondo.

Larsie-boi might get upset when you remind him which party formed, supported, and even now still has bloody hands thanks to the Klan.

A Proud Infidel®™

They say that THE TRUTH HURTS sometimes. In Commissar’s case it could be lethal, enough of it could give him a fatal brain aneurysm!

Hondo

Calling the Klan a creation of the Democratic Party might be overstating things, SEA – it was formed by former Confederate vets, not by the party itself (though most likely were Democrats, given US politics leading up to the Civil War). However, it’s legit to say that they were a firm supporter of the Democratic Party from shortly after creation until quite recently – e.g., probably the mid-1970s or so, and maybe later than that.

I suppose I also shouldn’t remind Taylor that the Klan was actually strongest in the early 1900s – not the Civil Rights era of the 1950s/1960s – and was strongest in two specific states (Indiana, Missouri), damn near taking political control of the former. If I recall my history, neither of those states was part of the former Confederate heartland.

You’re 100% correct about which party the Klan supported in the Jim Crow South. During the Civil Rights era, the GOP was the party of equality (and still is – the Democratic party has perverted their stance on equality from supporting true equality into the justification of institutionalized preference and wealth redistribution in order to pander for votes). The Democratic party of the day was divided on the issue, with southern Democrats virtually uniformly supporting segregation and Jim Crow. As a result, the Klan supported the Democratic party bigtime prior to the passage of the 1960s Civil Rights, Voting Rights, and LBJ Giveaway Acts (e.g., the programs collectively called the “Great Society”, AKA the Third Great Screwing of the American Taxpayer [the Federal Income Tax and Social Security were the first and second, respectively]).

So seeing someone in Klan gear protesting a GOP gathering is nothing new. In fact, it’s a return to the Bad Old Days of Jim Crow – with the same parties on the same sides, but somewhat different rhetoric.

Skippy

here is a video of your peaceful sanders supporters Lars

Casey

I’ve been reading that each protest generates new Trump supporters. Here’s proof. 😉

Grimmy

Just another idiot leftist vomiting up the sub-juvenile version of the 1st Amend.

Listen up, dumbass. The 1st says “congress shall make no law…”

No top down management on the issue. It doesn’t say a god damned thing about we, the citizens.

That’s because, you thumb-sucking, intellectually inbred, sack of cultural marxist shit, we, the citizens, know full well when domestic enemy need to be stomped into bloody mud puddles all on our own.

Bubblehead Ray

I love hearing the SAH whine about their “1st Ammendment Rights” being violated when they are ejected from a peaceful gathering because they are interfering in someone else’s 1st Ammendment Rights with their disruptive and thuggish behavior. Yo, Jagoff! Your rights don’t Trump (snark…see what I did there?) my rights.

I don’t support Trump, and I’m not thrilled with his success, but these actions are going to backfire on the left HARD.

Ex-PH2

Lars, old Poodle, it’s just a FREAKIN’ SHAME that you weren’t around in 1968, where you could be a draft protester and burn your effing draft card. Those unwashed twits would have just GROOVED on your silly, sorry ass. I would have enjoyed seeing you thrown out of the Pentagon by the MPs when you tried to find the Selective Service files.

You’re a putz, Poodle. Please go curl up by the fire.

B Woodman

Larsie Poo,
You had me at “peaceful protest”. What those LibIdiots were doing with the road blocks and the in your face screaming was hardly peaceful. So fuck you and the dildo you rode in on. No Constitutional protections for what they were doing. None.

Silentium Est Aureum

I’ll remember that “peaceful” protest is legal when the Log Cabin Republicans block the Bay Bridge some weekday morning.

President Camacho

I like this speech of this guy. He is smrt.

Valerie

Oh, you idiot. The point is that they weren’t peaceful. I skipped everything past your introduction, because you started with a lie.

NormanS

To an extent, yes. But when the venue where the rally is held is private, the renter has the authority to control access. And those granted permission to access can be held to rules of conduct. If they violate the rules, permission can be revoked.

I do something like that every Memorial Day in San José, California. A convention held at a public place, which is leased to a private group. And we do keep our protesters outside the venue.

Skippy

Play Stupid Games….. Win Stupid Prizes
my favorite was when they where chanting down with the US—- A,
all I can say is if Mexico is better then go back there simple….

SFC D

There are several places along the southern border where they can exit freely, no questions asked. Just leave your passport with the nice agent as you go.

Ex-PH2

No one is forcing them to stay here, right?

Skippy

No….

Hondo

Correct. But if they’re citizens (either by birth or naturalization), unless they renounce their US citizenship they regrettably retain the right to return in the future.

SFC D

That’s why I said they could leave their passport with the nice agent at the port of entry. And if they contact me through TAH, I can personally introduce them to some very friendly agents at my local port who would love to assist!

2/17 Air Cav

Actually, the 1st Amendment says nothing whatsoever about protesting. The right that allows people to gather in a public place to shuffle their feet, sing a song, or chant “Hillary is a liar! Bernie is a commie!” is the right of peaceable assembly. The right of free speech may or may not be involved in an assembly of people, just as an exercise of free speech may or may not involve an assembly of people. When a mob gathers, all bets are off. It is my clear impression that the provocateurs at Trump rallies are just that, hellbent on turning a peaceful assembly into a mob requiring state action to restore the peace.

OWB

Municipalities are also allowed to require permitting for events. Permits can also limit where the minions are allowed to assemble.

Lots of places solved the assembly problem using permits. And an armed police presence keeping protestors at bay.

UpNorth

I still think that the traffic problem could be solved by, in this case, 3 semis line abreast, going 70 miles per, or whatever the posted speed limit is, and not slowing down for any obstructions in the road.
As for the stank ass, and incredibly stupid, hippies, you’ll probably have less wear and tear on your face if you exercise your right to protest outside the venue. I realize that your whole reason to be there is to get your picture or video taken, showing how you’re being so badly treated, but, sooner or later, you’re going to get curb-stomped. If that’s your goal, keep on keepin’ on.

Perry Gaskill

Far out. It’s like the ’60s all over again, man.

Seriously, Mr. Wavy Gravy Jr. needs to lose the flag shirt and the KKK hood if he wants to be taken seriously. He’s the guy wandering into a biker bar wearing a Harley Davidson Riders Are Pussies t-shirt, and being surprised when he gets thrown through a plate-glass window.

OWB

Living through that mess once was more than enough. Seriously, we have to do this again? I object.

Ex-PH2

I object, as well. Once was enough.

David

Amen… first time I ‘enjoyed’ tear gas was at Washington University in the late ’60s, followed by more exposure at KU a bit later. Was lucky, didn’t hear a campus bomb till early ’71. My usual response to those who “miss the ’60s” was that they weren’t around then.

AZRobert

Living here in Az. is nice until the Libs start rising and playing their games or having to deal with the Phoenix V.A. shish…..the Libs can PLEASE go back to California, you have all ready killed a once Great Stats leave AZ alone!!!

AZRobert

opps…I meant State…bty I would support a Trump/Cruz ticket and would love to see the Lib’s heads explode…..

AW1Ed

I’ll vote Cruz in the Primary, but it’s ABtH* in the general. Because fuck no.

*Anyone But the Hildebeast

UpNorth

Same here,Ed.

Just An Old Dog

“Everyone knows how I don’t support the Trump candidacy, but, you know these stank-ass hippies are making it much more palatable to pull a lever for him if I have to.”

Bingo,
The only thing more disgusting than trying to tell me who to vote for is some who tries to tell me who I CAN”T Vote for.

Skippy

Word ^^^^^^
Thank You.

Valerie

I do not consider myself a Trump supporter, either, but I am beginning to think his character suits the times (Machiavelli).

It could be that the most important thing we do in this election is affirm the right of peaceable assembly. I would hate to settle for that, but it looks like, from my point of view, that is where we are headed.

The God’s honest truth is, Trump has been running at complicated issues from different standpoints in his speeches. This makes for memorable sound bites, no one of which captures his whole stance, which is often a reasoned analysis that balances competing interests. It actually pisses me off that the Republicans have failed to notice this.

OldManchu

Remember everyone in case you forgot….Lars is correct because he dates minority women. He likes to tell you about it as a race card play so you can’t question his moral authority. First it was Syrian and Chineese women. I suppose next he will tell is of a date with a KKK trashy girl with only half her teeth.

Crucible

It funny that they are almost ensuring he’ll get elected with crap like that.
