Tuesday morning feel good stories

| January 19, 2016

A Blytheville, Arkansas homeowner got into a gun fight with an intruder. Someone the homeowner knew knocked on the door and asked for a cigarette. While the friendly homeowner fetched one, a second thief barged his way into the house, gun drawn. The homeowner pulled his own gun and blasted away at the pair. The two un-assed the AO, but police found the second fellow suffering from gunshot wounds near by. The first fellow is still on the loose.

In Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, Justice Aiden Moses, 19 got into a scuffle with an older homeowner when he pulled his gun out. Somehow during the altercation, Moses was shot. His accomplice was unharmed and lit out, but Moses was treated for his wound and released to police custody. Again, don’t depend on the criminal to bring you a gun – always have your own nearby. No mention of the condition of the homeowner in the article.

In Bronx, New York an off-duty police officer was confronted by three armed thieves. He shot one of the men who was armed with two knives. That thief was taken to the hospital, the other two are still out there.

In Richland County, South Carolina, they still have video rental stores because an armed thief robbed one the other day. When the clerk told him that he didn’t have access to the safe, the thief shot him. The clerk pulled out his own gun and fired back, possibly injuring the criminal which caused him to flee the scene at a high rate of speed. The clerk’s injuries were not life threatening.

In St Louis, Missouri, store clerk Sone Maniphonh, shot a convenience store robber while the thief was involved in an altercation with her husband. The thief may have been DRT (dead right there) but it’s hard to tell from the article.

It seems that the fine folks in today’s good news stories need to invest in some larger caliber hand cannons.
Also, FIRST !!!

What calibers were used? Just having a gun on you as G.I. Joe cartoon put it…is half the battle.

Bronx NY. Looks like the bad guys understood that it was illegal for them to have a gun. Good for them (and the good guys).
