Friday morning feel good stories

| January 15, 2016

We start the morning in DeKalb County, Georgia where two guys impersonating police forced their way into a home. They were met by the armed homeowner, Timo Hernandez, who shot both of them with his father’s old rifle One was found next door DOT (dead over there), the other fled in their car with a woman driving. Police were called when he fell out of the car, and he was taken to the hospital and the get-away driver was arrested. The homeowner suffered minor injuries and his mother had a heart attack after all of the drama. I can hardly blame her – it all sounds exciting.

“I never want to hurt anybody like that, but they put me in a situation, and I only reacted to it,” said Hernandez. “It sucks that a man lost his life yesterday, but I had to protect my family.”

In Indianapolis, Indiana two residents got into an altercation with a thief who forced his way into the home when they discovered that the gun he was using was a fake. The thief escaped however and he’s still in the wind.

In Farmington Hill, Michigan, a homeowner who happened to be a CCW license holder discovered a thief breaking into his home. The thief jumped in his truck and drove at the homeowner who drew his gun and fired a couple of rounds at the man. He swerved and missed the homeowner and took off at a high rate of speed, causing him to crash. But he continued to make good his escape, but I’m sure the police will find the truck eventually.

In Mesquite, Texas, a convenience store clerk was able to disarm a thief and run him from the store with the thief’s own gun. The clerk suffered superficial injuries, but he’s much better now.

Good shooting Timo. now, about that “manbun”…

NR Pax

In light of his good deed for the community, I’m willing to ignore the manbun. What irritates me is how he has to get a funding page set up to take care of his mother since they don’t have insurance. The burglars or their families should be paying out.

Wait, what? A GoFundMe page? I thought Obamacare took care of things like this. And, it appears that Home Invader #2 expired in the hospital, according to the article. So,that’s both of them DOT.

“I never want to hurt anybody like that, but they put me in a situation, and I only reacted to it,” said Hernandez.

Absolutely. Using a weapon for self-defense is always justified.

Using a rifle. Now THERE’s some serious firepower.

Looks like Europe is finally waking up to this new-fangled concept of self-defense:

It doesn’t suck that the puke lost his life.
He deserved it.
Nice shootin’ Timo.
