Emile Wright; phony SEAL

| October 26, 2015

Emile Wright (6)

The folks at Military Phonies send us their work on this Emile Wright fellow who claims that he was in the Navy for thirty years and attained it’s highest pay grade and that he was a SEAL.

Emile Wright (4)

Emile Wright (5)

Well, that’s not exactly true. Don Shipley tells us that he hasn’t attended SEAL training and the National Personnel Records Center tells us that he wasn’t an E-9, he made it to Chief Boatswain Mate, an E-7. He probably just rounded up his thirty years from twenty years.

He served through the entire Vietnam War, something that many members of his generation refused to accomplish, but I guess that wasn’t enough, in his mind.

Incredulous

He posts his phone No. on his facebook page?
Guy must love pain.

LIRight

A perfectly honorable career marred by stolen valor. What goes through the minds of these people.

The only thing I exaggerate is the size of my 36″ waist. lol

Club Manager

Not so “perfectly honorable” in looking at his awards. Highest award is a Good Conduct Medal 3. With 20 years AD he should have received 6. A unit commendation but no personal awards, well unless you count the coveted NDSM.

NECCSEABEECPO

Well, he was a BM and back then that was the one MOS in the Navy you did not want. It was also not as hard to make Chief with out having any personal awards, like to day if you don’t’ have at least 2 your not going to make it. So yes he went wrong somewhere and it was not 3 yrs. like it is today it was 4 to receive good conduct and he would have 4 or 5 at 20 how ever you want to look at it.I would say he was riding the system and sometimes came to work. His school’s weren’t the best either, so the Navy didn’t think much of him.

HMCS (FMF) ret.

Actually, the Navy awarded GCM’s for 4 years of service up to to January 1, 1996, then it changed to every 3 years.

Doofus probably had an NJP sometime in his career, which would have “reset” the time frame for a GCM.

Why??

Weekend Warrior in Texas

If he was on the 4×400 meter realy team of the 1960 Rome Olympics, he did not participate in the race. Unless he changed his name.

DevilChief

He says 4X100 in the ariticle but he is not on that list either.

Weekend Warrior in Texas

That is what I meant, but in the excitement I…

Ex-PH2

Oh, fer Pete’s sake! Why do they do this?

The more I see of these idiots, the less I’m inclined to believe anything they say.

Bobo

20 years of service and not even a NAM? I’m also wondering why his retirement date is 31 Jul vice 31 Aug for 20 years. Maybe he slid in some DEP time before he shipped to boot.

Hondo

Bobo: I seem to remember reading in previous comments that the Navy had a “service credit for early re-up” option during Vietnam. Maybe one of our Vietnam-era Navy vets can confirm/refute/educate us on the mechanics of the program (if it existed).

NECCCPOSEABEE

Hondo, When I joined in 1989 we had some Nam guy’s still around and we had retirement ceremony’s all the time, the math did not add up from time to time. The Chief or First class would say something like it was time credited what ever that meant. I think your onto something.

NavyEODguy

Yes. The deal was you could re-enlist up to 90 days early. I forget the name of the program, but the way it was set up you would do as little as 18 years for a twenty year credit. Most of my buddies that opted for it retired between 18.5 and 19 years.

Navy: 1972-1998

NavyEODguy

I just remembered. The Navy (I’m assuming we’re the only service who did it, could be wrong) called it “Constructive Time” to sort of “pad” your retirement date.

Silentium Est Aureum

I saw that too. I also saw he only had 3 GCMs, meaning it’s entirely possible he retired with red chevron and service stripes.

Then again, I knew an ETC back in the day who had four GCMs, and that’s IT.

NECCSEABEECPO

Well I could see 4 if he did that credit deal because back then it was 4 yrs. for good conduct not 3 like today correct.

There’s a pretty good discussion about this guy and his claims here
http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=114969

with screenshots from of the claims he was making at the time (2012).

-Bachelors degree USD – USD says “who”
-Played 2 years professionally with San Diego Chargers – um, no
– 1960 US Olympic Relay Team – name not listed.
– etc.

Gotta love the linked in profile that asserts “Bachelor’s Degree in Education from San Diego State Universay.”

Glad this shithead is not around kids.

GDContractor

Perhaps noteworthy, if you read through that thread above, you will also see reference to claims made by one of Emile Wright’s students. A guy that went by the name of Steve “Nasty” Anderson. Apparently Anderson claimed to have received uniquespecial forces training in the Navy.

MSG Eric

You know he’s definitely fake. Who would admit to playing with the Chargers?

T$

hehehe

Green Thumb

The only thing this turd plays with are young men’s balls.

This clown is one oozy sack of shit.

My favorite is the Olympic relay claim.

If your gong to do it, go big.

2/17 Air Cav

Real heroes have to be sought. They do not seek the limelight. They do not advertise themselves. They certainly do not contact reporters to relate their tales of valor. It’s one of the fundamental, unwritten truths that valor thieves, wannabees, wish-they-weres, and wish-they-hads consistently overlook.

AverageNCO

A martial arts instructor embellishing his military record? NO WAY! Well at least we still have personal trainers and motorcycle club members to believe in. We know all those trainers claims are legit…as are all the patches on those leather vests.

Twist

A buddy of mine is a martial arts instructor who doesn’t claim anything that he wasn’t (regular Infantryman). He tells me that he is a rare breed in that regards.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

What he meant to say was “Walrus Team 3”.

LEGIT.

A Proud Infidel®™

A Martial Arts Instructor embellishing his Military Career? NO WAY, who’d a thunk that?

Green Thumb

Word.

Fat boy here needs to link up with “Ranger” Stephen Burrell and “Not-so-scary” Jerry Partain.

A Proud Infidel®™

What is it with some of these MA Instructors when they talk about their Military Service, they either don’t claim any or they’re some sooperdoopermegabadass that THEY SAY could make Chuck Norris faint, maybe it’s something like the phenomenon where the monkeys with the small balls screech the loudest?

Dave Hardin

MA Instructors, Firearms Instructors, Motivational Speakers, seem to be pron to Valor by Proxy.

GDContractor

In that link I posted above there is reference to Emile claiming that he fought Chuck Norris.

Twist

A buddy of mine who is a vet and also a MA instructor tells me that these posers are everywhere. It drives him nuts.

A Proud Infidel®™

I can only imagine…

Sparks

Wow, he looks like every retired SEAL I’ve ever seen. NOT!!! He’s a 80 pounds of lard over weight. The very few retired SEAL members I know, still look like they could do Hell Week. Same as the Rangers, current and former I’ve met, they all seem to stay in great shape. This guy who says he’s a martial arts master, in his own mind. (I mean you can’t get to be a 10th Degree Dan or 32nd Degree Mason or a Senior Assistant Window Order Taker at McDonalds without a lot of hardy handshakes and warm cups of soup.) Martial arts master and a phony SEAL, gee all he’s missing is the biker club jacket.

Ex-PH2

He’s not a retired SEAL. He’s a retired WALR:US. Big diff.

Sparks

Ex, I know he isn’t a retired SEAL. I missed that point in my post. Sorry.

Joe Williams

Yes you can be a 10th or Soke(head of your own made MA) just send your $200.00 or more to the Martail Arts Hall of Fame. Also Instruchor of the Year or aqny other thing you want to cliam for more money. I cloud be a 15th degree BB in boxing for the right amount of money . Joe

Samuel Browning

I’m curious. He claims to have been on the US Olympic Team for the 100 meter relay but the race occurred in Rome in September, 1960 after he already reported for duty. Secondly wikipedia does not list him as being a member of the relay team that ran. Am I missing anything?

HMCS (FMF) ret.

Another “CALL OF BOOTY – Anal Buttsekks Warrior” (Vietnam Sooper Sekrit Skwirrl mission – OPERATION WOMBAT FELCHER expansion pack).

Disgusting – he retired as a CPO and had to engage in this shit… now he’s just an E-7 (big difference between the two for the non-Navy types).

As for his football career – probably on the SD City Jail team as a “Wide Receiver”

NECCSEABEECPO

I’d have to question if he was ever considered a Chief because the way this guy seams. He may not have paid the price to be called Chief, you know what I mean. I still have my card to this day and can prove it.

I don’t think this guy made it to the last night,I would think not.. I would also say if he did he was the last one..

As a Marine mustang who watched several 1st Class Petty Officers go through promotion to Chief…I have to wonder, who let this shitbird slip through?

HMCS (FMF) ret.

Someone probably took him to McDonalds, got him a happy meal, sang “Kumbaya” to him, then gave him his anchors…

spd0302

Perfect answer Sr Chief. Semper Fi brother!

sj

Maybe he is an Honorary Chief? /s

Flagwaver

I’m curious if his black belt is even real. If he’s lying about all that bullshit, even after an honorable career in the Navy, then I wonder if he even really earned a Black Belt in anything but a pay-to-play McDojo.

As usual, my first instinct is to contact any local newspaper and hope they might be interested in a story exposing a phony wannabee like this turd. Absolutely AMAZING how many newspapers without reporters who actually served in the military have NO, ZERO, ABSOLUTELY ZILCH interest in such a story. The largest daily newspaper in that area is the Daily Republican in Marion, Illinois. Earlier today I spoke with the editor there and he was not in the least interested in the story. He had never been in the service, so I guess that has some bearing on his lack of interest. He did, however, tell me his newspaper did not carry much news on the town of Herrin. Made sense to me when he pointed out it was 20 miles away. Sure, since his is the only major daily print in that area!!! After that I called and spoke with some lady from a once-a-week newspaper in Herrrin itself. She seemed interested, but would pass it on to her publisher when he returned to the office later. Now he was himself not in the military. It would take a lot of guts to publish a story like this in a home town weekly newspaper. Any bets as to whether he will call?

nbcguy54ACTUAL

Reporters.

Stolen Valor = whatever.

Plagiarize one their stories = severe butthurt.

Hmmmm…

NECCSEABEECPO

Good point..

NECCSEABEECPO

I would say NO call..

Jarhead

Also called a television station out of Carterville, Il. Receptionist said one reporter was currently in NG, and that she would pass the story on to him when he returned. Surely this guy being an AD vet will call. Will report follow-up tomorrow. My money would go on the television reporter.

OldManchu

This is why I hate people. Most of them anyways.

2/17 Air Cav

“This is why I hate people.” You too?

Jarhead

Unfortunately for people like us, they don’t sell 40 acre lots out in the middle of the ocean.

W2

Change my rate to Boatswain’s Mate, doo dah, doo dah. Way to go dumbass, you just placed a permanent skid mark on what was otherwise honorable service with you BS lies.

Jarhead

You and D. Hardin both nailed it. One who served as a cook and did his time with an HD, earns and deserves all the respect I can muster. Add to a resume to make yourself look bigger than you were, and POOF….there it went out the window. It will come as no surprise to 2/17 that a bumper sticker on my truck reads…..The more people I meet, the more I like my dog. Never bragged about catchin’ a rabbit, or having saved the world. He’s (actually two of them) just plain and happy dog.

Jarhead

Just walked in the door carrying the usual “must have” from WalMart. Checked the caller I D and was within five minutes of having to explain a surprising lack of interest in this story, in spite of having hopes from a television reporter’s receptionist yesterday. Phone rang two minutes ago and there it was. NEVER give up hope is all I can say. A reporter from the station I mentioned yesterday called and explained that he was preparing to go on air and had a few things to write up. He did say he’d get back with me once he got home this evening and was in front of a computer. From the sounds of his interest in Stolen Valor, I’d put big bucks on Jonn hearing from this guy ASAP. Bag another big one for Jonn. It appears mostly, if not ONLY, reporters who are veterans themselves have any interest in stories such as these. Will update later after the conversation.

Jarhead

Just received a call from the reporter at WSIL in
Carterville. Currently in NG and definitely interested in this story. As of now it is back in the hands of Jonn. I am merely his pimp, but well paid for my time. Look forward to his follow up. S/F

HMCS (FMF) ret.

Jarhead, are you in the running for this title:

NSFW, virgin ears, the clergy, children or “sensitive New-age guys”)

Jarhead

Damned Internet. Sooner or later I knew they’d show me receiving my award. Jive ass POSER bitches better bring me all dey’s cash. I be pimpin’ fo Jonn just a short time now. His cash be his stories. I needs to hear dem ever day or I gets up on da mean side of da bed.

Just An Old Dog

My high school crush was a cheerleader named Emily Wright. She was two years ahead of me and never knew I existed.
Another reason to hate this guy, for fucking up that name.

Jarhead

Old Dog…..not sure where you were going with this. No chance your Emily became a transgender??? Could she be a he now? BTW, knowing what a pathetic liar he is, any chance he used the girl’s bathroom in the younger days?
