Tuesday morning feel good stories

| September 1, 2015

An elderly couple in Ontario, California awoke to the sight of a youngster climbing in their home through the window. The man armed himself with a shotgun and chased the youngster way from the house. After a while the failed burglar made moves towards the elderly man who, in turn fired a warning shot which made the youngster surrender, and that’s how police found them. The younger man had two outstanding warrants, which are no longer outstanding.

In Phoenix, Arizona, three armed men forced their way into a home, two left after the homeowner greeted them with his own firearm and laid one of them low with non-life-threatening wounds.

Chief Tango sends us a link about the events in Baltimore, Maryland where a woman was shot multiple times by a clerk when she announced an armed robbery at a local liquor store. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition while her accomplice un-assed the AO without her.

Russ sends us a feel good story from Brandon, Mississippi, where a boyfriend was proving his value to his girlfriend by pounding on her, but she drilled him instead and he was declared DRT (dead right there).

Twist

I’m amazed that someone in California had a gun.

Not just that Twist, but he didn’t even get arrested for firing it either!! 😀

California, hell. How about Maryland, especially after Martin O’Malley’s heavy handed work to make it a gun-free zone?

What’s up with these disloyal f**cks who leave their wounded accomplices behind on the battlefield? Haven’t they heard of “leave no fellow felon behind?”

A Proud Infidel®™

Nope, and many times they can’t wait to rat out their accomplices in order to make a deal with prosecutors.

A Montana woman displays some common sense. I’m guessing that she’s learned to be more picky now.

Seven total perps – with 1 DRT, 1 critical, 1 wounded and apprehended, 1 apprehended w/o being hurt, and 3 on the run and presumably to be IDed by their wounded accomplices.

Not a record “day at the plate” for the good guys, but a damn good effort. Kinda like going 3 for 6 (along with a “reached on balk” or “reached on error”) with a HR, an extra base hit, and a single.

I wish the lady who offed the abusive ex a speedy recovery.

And thanks to live streaming, I was able to watch the Chicago news last night, in which the incompetent CPD chief said ‘we took 4200 illegal guns off the street’ and also ‘gun violence rates are rising’.

Well, maybe if Chicago cops did something besides gather like hens after a June bug down in Englewood and got back on the beats, where they belong, crime might drop in Chitown. When that jackass moron mayor, who closed local schools for lack of money but opened new libraries (see the disconnect there?) gets fired from his job, maybe the city will stop resembling Detroit just ahead of its cascade into self-destruct.

Well, maybe not. I am SO GLAD I moved away from there. FAR, FAR AWAY.

Stop by secondcitycop.blogspot.com for a good look at the CPD from a cops perspestive. I recommend it.

Obviously the one from MS was a suicide because women NEVER use guns to defend themselves from domestic abuse. According to the prescribed narrative he must have taken her gun from her and shot himself.

Ontario, California story was hilarious, but the no outstanding warrants and then no longer outstanding was the funniest part of the story.
