Monday morning feel good story

| November 17, 2014

This morning’s feel good story comes from Ohio, where a mother and her 13-year-old son were attacked in a convenience store. The mother had justifiably just got her permit to carry because of the fellow who attacked them in the store. After they shot her son in both feet, Mom, drew down;

The mom, who doesn’t want to be identified, said she immediately recognized one of the suspects Kevin Hayden, when he walked up to Wilson Market Sunday. She says Hayden and his friends have been harassing her for years, after breaking into her home.

She says she was so concerned, she went and got a conceal carry license this fall.

The mom says she unloaded her gun, as Hayden and his friend ran away, still firing back. Hayden is now being held on $250,000 bond. Police say charges are pending for the other man involved.

Her son is out of the hospital but he’s still recovering from the wounds.

Good for mom for taking an active stance in defending herself and her family from those thug yutes. Hopefully her son will grow up to be just as much of an adult CITIZEN (not serf) as she is.

I realize it’s very difficult to hit a moving target, especially when one has just recently gotten a “permit” and gun. So I’ll give her a pass on not hitting any of her tormentors. But I will suggest, most gently, “more range time needed”.

And I will express my regrets that she was not able “to make the world a more peaceful place . . beginning now.”

While the following are not my sentiments, let’s see how this incident can be taken a different way.

1) Instead of taking care of her son and calling the police, the mother took the reckless step of pulling out a gun without regard to the other people in the store.

2) The resultant exchange of fire between the youth and the overly aggressive woman resulted in a running street battle similar to that of the OK Corral. Bullets flew in all directions endangering the citizens and residents in the area.

3) “Channel 3 talked to a woman who lost her son in a similar shooting in 2009. ‘If so many guns weren’t on the street and being used by people who can’t handle them properly, my baby would be alive,’ said Mary Jones.”

While I don’t agree with what I wrote, I can see this being said by those who want to limit or take guns from people.

Too often it is not the facts that matter, but who controls the narrative.

“Yuri Bezmenov (alias Tomas Schuman), a Soviet KGB defector, explains in detail his scheme for the KGB process of subversion and takeover of target societies at a lecture in Los Angeles, 1983.

Yuri Bezmenov was a former KGB propagandist who was assigned to New Dehli, India – and defected to the West in 1970.

Bezmenov explains his background, some of his training, and exactly how Soviet propaganda is spread in other countries in order to subvert their teachers, politicians, and other policy makers to a mindset receptive to the Soviet ideology.

He also explains in detail the goal of Soviet propaganda as total subversion of another country and the four-step formula for achieving this goal.

He recalls the details of how he escaped India, defected to the West, and settled in Montreal as an announcer for the CBC.

Note the segments starting at around 14 and 24 minutes into the video.”

Watch the vid. Know your enemy. And do NOT be mistaken. Those who play these games, regardless of expressed motivation, are an enemy no different from any foreign born trigger puller in declared war.

Okay … but I cannot control the narrative. Other people do that and don’t give a damn what I think or say or even do.

An asshole shot her son in leg and foot. These are repeat assholes. She did the right thing.

regarding your points
1. she shot second, not first
2. see 1 above.
3. see 1 above.
The criminal is the guy who started this shit, not the lady who ended it.
