Anyway-anybody heard anything about this in the media? No? I thought not. Never forget what we are up against here. The left and the media (but I repeat myself) are about the narrative, not the facts. The Matthew Shepard murder supported the narrative (oppressor vs oppressed) and was useful to the left and the media (but I repeat myself again).
These murders pit one designated victim class against another, which is not helpful to the narrative, so we get crickets from the national media. Propaganda matters and the left largely controls the means of propaganda. That’s why they hate Fox News so much, because it is a challenge to their monopoly over what gets reported.
I saw like 20 second mention of it on Special Report, but other than that nope.

Cool picture of the experimental corn harvester I have read about. From what I have read, it doesn’t use much gas. Still some tweaking to do, obviously. For example, I read that the iPad app is still indicating forward airspeed. Of well, I hope this project is pursued to its natural end. A high sped low drag zero-fuel-requirement low altitude corn harvester will no doubt reverse climate change and save the planet. The man behind this project is obviously a genius. I hope he is getting the fame and notoriety he deserves.
I hear he used to fly C-130s before joining the TX State Guard as a PFC….

Meantime, if weather allows, going to grill some hamburgers in a bit to make bacon cheeseburgers. Enjoying fresh melon from the local farmer’s market too. Not doing any real cooking this weekend…
Remember the old guy outside of every 3rd world bar anywhere, with the meat-on-a-stick snacks? He’s the guy cooking skewers of highly seasoned mystery meat over an open coal grill of some sort, selling them to half shit-faced Americans at a huge profit, while listening to them make monkey or cat sounds? I think I’ve cracked the code on the marinade; keep the monkey sounds to yourself. You’ll need:
Teriyaki Sauce
Brown Sugar
Ginger
Garlic
Black Pepper
Red Pepper flakes
Lime or pineapple juice
Oil, sesame preferred, but vegetable is fine
Sherry, Beer or white wine (optional)
Slice S/B chicken (breasts or thighs) or pork into mostly equal strips. As for marinade measurements, use enough. Marinate in a zip-lock bag at least for a few hours, overnight is better. Thread onto soaked bamboo skewers and grill over high heat ’till just done through. You can reduce remaining marinade to make a sauce, too. Bring it to a full boil, reduce to a simmer and let it go to desired consistency.

I’m sitting in Fred Meyer while my 12 year old is trying on school clothes. I have seen 3 men and 2 women walk by open carrying and there is no fuss going on. I’m so glad that I live in Alaska instead of New York.
Funny that you should mention that. Yesterday I saw a pretty young lady walk into our local grocery store packing a Glock on her very shapely hip. I talked to her later and found that she prefers the .357 Sig to the 9 MM. Of course this is rural eastern Washington state so open carry here doesn’t bring a SWAT response with an M-RAP and a helicopter like it would over in the peoples republic of Seattle.

Time to read some rebuttal paperwork this morning. I could use the laugh.
I just received a rather disturbing offer from the VFW. It’s apparently open season to enroll in the TRICARE and CHAMPVA supplemental insurance plan. Sounds very nice, until I read the entire offer. There’s a friendly letter stating how much it will help me, how it fills in the gaps, etc. There’s a lovely table showing my monthly premiums based on age, current TRICARE coverage and duty status. Multiple payment options ranging from monthly billing to automatic bank withdrawal. But there’s something missing. Nothing in the flyer actually spells out what I get through enrollment. It does say I will receive more information after enrollment…
I think we’ve heard that before. Apparently you have to buy it to find out what’s in it. Anyone else get this in the mail?

The latest on All-Points Logistics and their Felonious CEO, Commander Phil Monkress.
My buddy contacted some offices and personnel over the weekend inquiring as to Commander Monkress’ Native American, SEAL and LEO claims.
Senior staff, when called, (to included Birdwoman, the Bottomfeeder and the “less than honorable” COL W.) claim they do not know him and have never heard of him. Yep. You heard that right. And they have never heard from my buddy before. He (Phildo) is the CEO and they have no idea who he is. Great integrity and honesty. Now you can see what the purpose of APL has become: An ATM for senior personnel and Phildo. Screw the product and employees, lets just get paid before we split in the middle of the night before the audit comes (and I believe it may be in the works.)
Several rank and file employees (they are available in the weekend timeframe if you know where to look) refer you to Phony Phil (who’s AA just hangs up on you). However, many laugh and make remarks about the situation. Loosely translated, they know that Phil and his senior staff are collusive and operate with nefarious intent (and are phony, fraudulent shitbags).
Additionally, they (lower tier folks) are not happy at some new personnel decisions. It would appear that there is another purge in the midst.
Also, the Houston office is cool. They really do not like Phony Phil or Smith.
Check out APL’s new website and give them a buzz. Be polite, be professional and above all, tell them what you think.
