I’d like to ask if I can open up one huge mf-in can of whoop-ass on the first SFB who says that the McCain Camp is playing the ‘POW card”. Heard it once already and I’ll need back-up if I hear it again.
Hardcore, that’s probably why one of McCain’s biggest critics, Matt Welch, called bullshit on the Rolling Stone article for saying he was a coward. To hell with Rolling Stone.
If you’re trying to be snarky, look, yeah, he might not have been being honest about how he was being treated and they may have used it as a propaganda video but I’m pretty sure he was tortured. It’s not fair, whoever got those, to put that out there. It’s just not right.

That’s why I’m with the anti-Iraq-war veteran movement. I don’t like what McCain has done about veterans since his service, I don’t think he takes care of troops, but just because he cracked after torture…LOTS of people crack. We can’t sit around saying we wouldn’t, because we haven’t been through it. If you ask POWs, they welcomed people back even after they had because they understood the pressure.
