Gawker & the Truth; never shall the twain meet
I wrote earlier about Shannon Richardson, the lunatic who sent ricin to the president and the mayor of New York and tried to frame her husband for it. I was playing around on Facebook and saw the above banner to a Gawker article, written by Adam Weinstein, who has since “unfriended” me on Facebook when I confronted him on the headline to his article.
Adam took the things that she wrote at face value and called her “pro-gun”. In her letters that contained the ricin, she wrote;
You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns.Anyone wants to come to my house will get shot in the face.I served in the united states army and because your muslim ass will probly [sic] never be able to retire.I will have to work until my last breath.I deserve better and so do my wife and kiddos.I will take care of this myself and make sure you wont be runnin [sic] this country in the ground any further.The right to bear arms is my constitutional right and I will excersice [sic] that right til the day I die. What’s in the letter is nothing compared to what ive got in store for you mr president.
Now, she was divorcing her husband, and according to Weaponsman, she didn’t like her husband’s guns. But somehow, Weinstein thinks that it’s more credible to believe that the words written by a lunatic trying to frame someone when a rational person would believe that anything she said was a complete fabrication meant to get her husband arrested. Weinstein would have us believe the words she wrote were what she meant, not what she wanted law enforcement to believe about her husband. And, oh, yeah, if you go to the comments at Gawker, the left-tards are eating it up.

A theory at the time was she was framing her husband in order to get better outcome from the pending divorce.
I suppose it is now sexist for a husband to not take the blame when a wife attempts to assassinate the POTUS.
DaveO, it’s only sexist when someone makes it so.
#2 Ex-PH-2: at the time this broke, it was raaaaacist, and lots of aspersions were cast about conservatives and gun-supporters. Sexism is the new Racism.
Those of us lucky enough to be Jonn’s Facebook friend are getting to see an entertaining exchange. Based on the dialogue, it appears Jonn may have room for a new FB friend at the end of the day.
This is a typical liberal response to anything “gun”. No where does it say she is pro or anti gun. The fact that her husband, supposedly, owned a gun says nothing of him except he was a gun owner. Weinstein is just fanning the anti-gun flames for his limousine liberal friends. This folks, is unbiased news reporting at its best…NOT. Since he is, I assume, an intelligent man he is just beating an old drum for more readership. DaveO you are correct. Sexism is the new racism and we will hear more and more of it the closer we get to Hillary’s run at 2016.
This is just more crap from the left about their favorite meme, this crazy lady should be locked up for so long she never sees another sunrise or sunset…
gawker network are king scumbags of the internet.
They make the insane asylum patients over at democratic underground look legit.
Sexism the new racism? Oh, count on it!
Men will be considered poison toads by that crowd. I’m waiting for the fit to hit the shanty.
My favorite part on FB is where he claims to be pro-2nd Amendment, despite his willingness to write and defend Gawker’s headline in a purely Fact-Free Zone.

“Ricin-a-Roni. Ding. Ding. Dingus.”
one day when I had some time on my hands I did a pretty intensive search for her ‘anti-gun’ stance…. saw one main reference and it seemed every other one quoted it verbatim. Considering the number of bogus claims (“every mass shooter in history was a Democrat!”) floating around, I tend to disregard single-origin things like that. Is she batshit crazy? Ooohh baby, that seems to be universally accepted… but pro- or anti-gun, I sure can’t tell. Anyone have credible info?
