Wednesday feel good story
CDR D sends us today’s feel good story, this time it happened in Texas when an 18-year-old man heard noises in his house and grabbed a shotgun before he investigated;
When the man spotted the two suspects in his home he shot both of them in the abdomen.
One suspect was taken by ambulance to San Jacinto Hospital where he died. Investigators described him as a 40-year-old man who is a suspect in several other burglaries. The second suspect got away from the scene and somehow got to a hospital where he was arrested. At last check he was listed in critical condition at Memorial Hermann.
A neighbor tells FOX 26 that the 18 year old lives in the home by himself and he was a victim of a home burglary a month ago.
The vehicle that the two took to the scene of their life-changing event matches the description of a vehicle seen at another burglary earlier in the evening.

Sweet. Love me some 12ga Texas justice.
There’s not a whole lot of argument to be had with an alley sweeper.
Rule #1. Never play strip poker with strangers.
Rule #2. Do not drive the same car to different burglaries.
I just lurves me these Feel Good Turn-Their-Lives-Around news stories.
Someday. Someday the bad guys will learn. Just about the time we run out of (dumb) bad guys.
Obviously no additional range time needed. But one perp survived. So I have to wonder, what was Mr Man using in his 12 guage? Bird shot, buck shot, or slug?
And is the second surviving perp being charged with the murder of his deceased partner?
Popaw. Still don’t like joe Biden.
@5, I believe Texas is one of the states that will charge like that.
Personally, I hope that he used high-density rock salt. It will kill at close range, but at long range, you will simply wish you were dead as you sit in the ER waiting room behind all the illegals with the sniffles.
Think of 20 to 30 rounds of .32 bullets hitting in less a area of 4 to 6 inches depending on the distance. I use 7 1/2 loads because they will not go thru walls and hitting anyone in the next room. I was traught this from the Hurst PD. They got this method from the Dallas SWAT teams. Joe
@Joe Williams – that’s what I use too, advised by a Harris County, TX sheriff’s deputy. Very good idea!
Hey Perps – Don’t Mess With Texas.
