Feel Good Story Update
Last Saturday, we did a feel good story from Milwaukee in which a bartender, Andy Kochanski, stopped three gun-wielding thugs from robbing his bar. Well, he’s not being charged and he’s taking his experience a step further;
“The support from people is just all across the country. It’s been amazing. It’s probably helped me get through this,” adds Kochanski.
Kochanski tells TODAY’S TMJ4 that a certified instructor also reached out to him about holding a concealed carry license class at the bar this weekend. He’s looking forward to it.
“It should be interesting to see how many people are interested in it,” shares Kochanski. “I think it’s a good thing. People should be educated.”

Finally, guns in bars! My life is complete.
That is a refreshing turn of events.
Guns AND alcohol, a winning combination.
“People should be educated.”
Yes, they should be. They might have a better understanding of what guns are meant to do and how to use them.
Well, I kinda suspect that alcohol sales will be a “NO GO” before and during the class.
Couple this with the Milwaukee High Sheriff that has come out publicly against any attempt at a federal gun-grab and things seem pretty good…at least for the moment. What do you think that communist who played Laverne back in the 70’s thinks about all of this? I could only guess.
This is not the first time he has shot at armed robbers. A few years back,(2008 or so) a couple of men armed with at least one sawed off shotgun and wearing ski masks came in and announced a holdup. Mr. Kochanski pulled his pistol and traded fire with the two. A patron was hit by pellets in the exchange, but the thugs ran off. No reports of the perps being hit in the report I read. There would be a lot fewer robbers if more good people shot back.
