MSNBC: Boston bombers weren’t jihadists
I don’t know if anyone besides right wing bloggers are watching MSNBC anymore, but this might be one of the reasons why; MSNBC news reader tells us that the Boston bombers weren’t jihadists at all, they were right wingers who were fans of professional conspiracy crank Alex Jones;
I guess it makes MSNBC feel better about their shrinking constituency to label the rest of us crackpots. Certainly, it makes us safer for them to point out the squirrels and shinies while we’re trying to ferret out the jihadists among us.

On a high note given MSN’s ratings no one is watching to take it in.
The left try to make out every horrific event the result of Right Wing extremism. I remember that right after the Aurora shooting they suggested that Holmes was a Tea Party member because one of the 20 something people in the area with the same name was a Tea Pary member.
Hasn’t anyone spoofed Alex Jones yet? Or, for that matter, all of those egocentrists on MSNBC?
See, this is why I gave up on TV. When the only things worth watching are ‘NCIS’, ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘Breaking Bad’, and the news is either gossip or bad reporting, why pay extra for it?

Ex-PH2: Actually, they do such a good job spoofing themselves that it is almost impossible to do better. Team Twitchy tends just to highlight, sit back, and watch as there really isn’t much they can add. Also MSNBC hasn’t quite realized that their stars are held up to widespread mockery even within the media, and especially outside that group.
At least it wasn’t a clip of Rachel Maddow talking. I can’t stand him and his terrible show. He’s such a little smug smartass and he makes my ears bleed whenever I hear him talk.
I don’t get it. How can a network with Maddow, Matthews, and Sharpton fail so miserably? Speaking of Al, it’s time to revisit that which makes him great: The oratory worthy of Pericles and the insight at which Plato would marvel. Until I gave up cable TV, which was a waste of money, I watched BBC, Bloomberg from Hong Kong, and CNBC, and occasionally I could get Canale2 from France, but that’s gone now. What ever happened to unbiased reporting?

They (MSNBC) cater to the far left wingnuts who believe that Obama hasn’t done enough and that Conservatives should be locked up and do hard labor for breathing air that doesn’t belong to them.
The ONLY reason I visit their facebook page is to mock people and see how often I can get a “You hurt my feelings with this post” message.

It is actually not surprising that he might listen to Jones. From what I just read on the internet, Jones is a big 9/11 conspiracy theorist. Heck, he even claimed that the Boston bombings were a government conspiracy, too. That probably played right into the brothers’ world view of Muslim persecution. And I’d almost be willing to bet the newspaper they cited in the story is anti-Israel, as well. But you’re right, MSNBC is clutching at straws to try and tie them to the Right Wing. I would have been embarrased to have read that story on-air.

The only time I watch PMSNBC is when they’re doing their “Lockup” series on weekends as I’m unwinding. Other than that, it’s just a channel between FNC and CNN I skip.

How soon will MSDNC reach the point where they ask for a US Government bailout? I haven’t watched them since……..
Don’t think that my TV has ever been dialed there, so no clue who is in their line up. Just. Don’t. Care.
Can understand that some folks “need” to tune in at least occasionally. Knowing that all they broadcast is lies and propaganda, why should normal people subject themselves to it? Don’t particularly enjoy listening to one channel broadcasting what another channel is saying either. They all seem entirely too absorbed in what others think of them. (Yes, I understand that they must be, to a certain extent, but they also all have responsibilities because of that Constitutional protection thing as well.)
MSNBC has been a joke since it’s inception. It has a line-up of liberal hacks whose world view consists of bashing anyone who is against Prince Obama and anyone who supports the United States. They have done more than their fair share to hamper race relations and political discourse in this country. They employ a succession of race baiters and uninformed far left mouthpieces who represent all the “oppressed” groups that liberals love. They have no redeeming qualities and their lack of viewership reflects this. For them to make this claim about the Boston bombers just shows how far in the tank they have gone. They have no facts to back up their allegations but this channel has never really needed facts anyway. They will eventually go the way of all liberal “news” shows. Onto a scrap heap, mocked when they are not being ignored.
