Monday feel good story

| August 5, 2013

Chief Tango sends us today’s feel good story which happened today in Tulsa;

Police say the homeowner confronted the burglar and saw a gun in the suspect’s hand, so the homeowner fired, hitting the man in the thigh.

Officers arrived to find the suspect, identified as DeAngelo McBee, lying in the street with a gunshot wound.

Police say the homeowner fired in self-defense so he will not be charged, but 18-year-old McBee will likely be charged.

Too bad it wasn’t a center of mass or head shot but at least the homeowner, his family and property were saved. I found a link where someone has compiled a list of feel good stories at http://www.rationalityrebooted.com/. This should keep TAH readers entertained for quite some time.

A Proud Infidel

A chorus of POP goes the Goblin seems appropriate.

OWB

I dunno, Proud. “Another One Bites the Dust” is always playing in the background here while reading these stories.

B Woodman

Head and hips. Head and hips.
Works every time.
Too bad it wasn’t the perps head, but hip will do. He ain’t gonna be as spry to do his burgling as he usta be.

“Police say the homeowner fired in self-defense so he will not be charged, but 18-year-old McBee will likely be charged.” Likely be charged? WTF? I guess the cop does not want to potentially violate the Goblin’s rights to a fair trial. This akin to calling Hassan the “alleged shooter”.
