F&F rifle used in murder of police chief

| July 6, 2013

The LA Times reports that the Justice Department has discovered that one of the rifles that the BATFE lost track of in the course of their Fast & Furious follies killed a Mexican police chief earlier this year;

Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, the police chief in the city of Hostotipaquillo, was shot to death Jan. 29 when gunmen intercepted his patrol car and opened fire. Also killed was one of his bodyguards. His wife and a second bodyguard were wounded.

Local authorities said eight suspects in their 20s and 30s were arrested after police seized them nearby with a cache of weapons — rifles, grenades, handguns, helmets, bulletproof vests, uniforms and special communications equipment. The area is a hot zone for rival drug gangs, with members of three cartels fighting over turf in the region.

A semi-automatic WASR rifle, the firearm that killed the chief, was traced back to the Lone Wolf Trading Company, a gun store in Glendale, Ariz. The notation on the Department of Justice trace records said the WASR was used in a “HOMICIDE – WILLFUL – KILL –PUB OFF –GUN” –ATF code for “Homicide, Willful Killing of a Public Official, Gun.”

The LA Times articles says that hundreds of weapons were lost during the operation, but it was actually thousands. And most of those weapons are still in the hands of criminals.

Accountability is not something this administration is interested in. In fact the only organization they are responsible for is SEAL team 6.

Yet Eric Holder still has a job…He must really have something big on Pres. Obama in order for him to keep his position. I’m not one for conspiracy theories or tin foil hats, but any other POTUS would have shit-canned his AG for things like this.

B. Hussein 9bama & Co. want everyone but their henchmen & women and criminals armed, everyone else is supposed to just be a victim and dependent on them!

It must not be incompetence/illegality if Democrats do it or something…

Unless and until the press gets serious about holding the one’s feet to the fire on this (fat chance), Holder’s job is safe. Anyway, how can we expect them to report on a minor scandal like this when other, more important, stories are competing for attention (I mean, did you see what Kim and Kanye named their baby?).

Gee, I sure hope Eric “Asshat” Holder is proud of himself and his dipstick plan. How many people have been killed as a byproduct of F&F? I’ve lost count.

Oh, this administration is VERY interested in accountability. Holding OTHER people accountable for THEIR actions. Like trying to pass gun control laws to hold responsible citizens accountable for THEIR fuckup (and dare I say, conspiracy) in F&F.

Enough rant.

This is my surprised look: :l

The LAT committed a random act of journalism? They better slow down, they’re way ahead of the curve now.

Unlike other scandals (e.g., Benghazi), F&F has the potential to keep cropping up in the news as the body count rises. I’m guessing that the John “Jungle Stroll w/ Camerman” Kerry’s crack team at State is trying to get the Mexicans to modify these stories. All it takes is to report the next killing as committed with a shotgun or any other non-F&F type weapon.

Holder needs to be impeached. Too bad the ballless, corporatist Republicans won’t touch it.

They couldn’t care less where their guns end up, but they slobber over themselves at the thought of knowing where every single one of ours is.

And not a word on the Government propaganda media networks.
