Not His Fault? The Army Made Him Do it!

| February 4, 2012

That’s the excuse his defense team has been using.  Now we get to see how it stands up in Court.

This is news to few here at TAH… but it IS new that it is finally moving out of the court of public opinion.

Bradley Manning to Face All Charges in Court-Martial

WikiLeaks suspect Bradley Manning is headed for a general court-martial, according to the commander of the U.S. Army Military District of Washington in an announcement released late Friday.

Maj. Gen. Michael Linnington, the general convening authority for the district, made the determination that Manning will face all 22 charges leveled against him, include aiding the enemy, wrongfully causing intelligence to be published on the internet knowing that it is accessible to the enemy, theft of public property or records, transmitting defense information, and fraud and related activity in connection with computers.

The most serious charge — aiding the enemy — carries a possible death penalty. Prosecutors have said they will not seek the death penalty. Instead, Manning faces life in prison if convicted of all the charges.

There seems to be no/zero/nil doubt that he did what he’s accused of.  The peripheral  dog and pony show and other fancy dancing should be entertaining.

PFC Manning is perhaps one of the biggest clowns to be held up as a “hero” in the history of the Hippie movement. His “Whistle Blowing” is not revealing “War Crimes” but rather mistakes made while actually, ya know, fighting a war.

Worse he has attempted to make plain the petulant nature of the State Department (as if you really needed proof of that) may have hurt what negotiations we might have been in. Lastly his actions have literally caused people to die. How you ask? he released unredacted reports which included informant names, locations of said informants. sadly we have not gone back to check exactly how many informants are dead because of it. We know the number is in the dozens perhaps hundreds. So please lets dispense with the foolish notion that this ass clown is any sort of “hero”

Prosecutors may not seek the death penalty, but should the jury return that sentence?

Of course Anonymous is getting into the act. They’re terrorists. Fortunately nobody knows who they are so Obama can’t surrender to them too.

After they convict Manning, they should toss him into a cell with John Walker, Jonathan Pollard, and Jerry Whitworth. Let those three turds tell Manning how they like paying the price for what they did.

Let all four of ’em rot in jail.

He’s an actively serving member of the military. It is life in Leavenworth where he will turn big rocks into little rocks. He may have hated the Army, but I hope he likes Basic, because his life will be completely structured until the day he dies.

Though, on the plus side… he will be getting all the butt sex he doesn’t want.

You need to understand the man that you are looking for is not Bradely Manning. The man that you are looking for is Jesse Helms. Seriously?

“The most serious charge — aiding the enemy — carries a possible death penalty. Prosecutors have said they will not seek the death penalty.” Excuse me, why the fuck not? What more do you need? Him directly handing documents to the enemy? Reloading their weapons? What is the burden that is needed to at least bring this into play?

L3C: Right because that’s the same as aiding the enemy.

CA: You could throw in ungodly counts of Manslaughter for all the informant that died because of his release of info.
