What exactly, I’m unsure;

ROS sent us the picture of rappers Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. yeah, i don’t know who they are, either, Wiki says;

Yayo was arrested on December 31, 2002 for weapons possession. He had a Glock 20 handgun and a Colt AR 15 in the trunk of his car. When police discovered that Yayo had an outstanding warrant for a previous such charge, Yayo was sentenced for bail jumping and spent all of 2003 in prison. Yayo served time in the Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility and was paroled on January 8, 2004. The next day, he was arrested for possessing a forged passport and served time in federal prison until May 25, 2004.

You Marines should be proud that he chose your uniform to show what a “Soljer” he is. Semper Fido!

Gee, sooooo glad everyone got to their happy place. Yep, I see the rainbow now!

(Maybe this is a good place to admit to having no idea what the dustup was about?? Methinks perhaps another of those generational things. Again.)

But I must add that throwing the n-word into a post sure makes whatever else the user of the word might say seem pretty damned irrelevant. At least in this household.

@29 Cedo: you may have been thinking of this?

Kristie, I’m an FNG to this site so forgive me for being a little slow on the up take.

What ticks off REAL veterans more than anything are phonies. WE did our time with honor and integrity. Doesn’t matter, zoomies, dog faces, squids, jarheads, same/same. Look at the death rolls from the middle east, everyone is there. One tour in the Navy or a 30 year Army career, an honorably discharged veteran is an honorably discharged veteran. The operating word here is Honor, something these pikes wouldn’t know anything about.

What pisses off Marines more than anything are @$$holes wearing ANYTHING related to the Marine Corps that they haven’t EARNED the right to wear. It took 13 weeks of enduring the toughest basic training of any branch of the US military to EARN the title Marine and the RIGHT to wear dress blues. It took me two years, two months of busting my @$$ every day to EARN the rank Sergeant of Marines. I didn’t have “fruit salad” on my left breast, it was more like a cup of fruit cocktail. But what little bit I had was EARNED.

@ Tracker…when you gentlemen come over the horizon in your tracs, I am humbled and so very proud. As for the idiots “wearing” the uniform., they ain’t s*&*. I’m thinking a dropoff at 29 Palms…teach em how to earn it in California is not at a buffet. I have a teeny, miniscule idea how you earned it. You have my sincere thanks, and, by the way, there is no way to imitate a true Marine in his dress blues….they just oooooze honor. Oh, and they lose that uniform over any disrespect. These idiots have spent years in jail for felony weapons violations. Seems we need some Marines on our streets doing some clean up.

I would beat the fuck out of them..ill be damned if a bitch ass gangster thinks he can put on what I earned..fuck u

Hey Hondo, thanks for the dope about Army uniforms. I gotta ton more reading to do but at least I have a basic understanding of what goes where and why and what they mean. I’m glad the Corps kept it simple so I didn’t hurt my head thinking!?

“representn” u are a huge douche if you think the “marines should be proud” the those two ass clowns are disrespecting a uniform they know nothing about. They have no honor or class. Men and women die every day overseas for them to have tht right . I hope more people see how much respect these dumb asses have for their protectors. I don’t think they would last two weeks in the marines.
