Veterans Today: Don’t believe your lyin’ eyes

| August 22, 2011

As we watch the Gaddafi government crumble to tiny pieces of dust and speculate whether Moamar is still in the country or not, Veterans Today, that impeccable source for all of my news tells us as recently as yesterday that our eyes are lying to us;

Although I agree with Mr. Lendeman’s sentiment that we should remain skeptical of the New York Times’ reportage, it’s kind of hard to imagine that every news service could be wrong. Especially since even other authors at Veterans Today are writing articles entitled “Libya After Gaddafi” and “Libya Falls“.

I guess if you bet on every horse in the race, odds are you’ll win.

Gee, who to root for: Khaddafy, or the AQ-Muslim Brotherhood rebels?

Old Trooper

There are several things in that brief article that really make a person wonder/laugh.

“progressive News Radio”? Really? Plus, the whole “Baghdad Bob” thing cooking with the dude quoted in the article.

Isn’t that the truth, though? Six of one and half-dozen of the other…

Heard a good one vis-a-vis Libya: Don’t forget to rotate your tyrants every 5000 miles.

There is one thing I can agree with in the article. Namely, “Times reports aren’t fit to read”.
When President Present finishes his victory lap for Libya, what’s next, the laser-like focus on jobs, or “helping” Assad to leave Syria?
