Looking for jobs for Americans

| August 16, 2011

Claymore sent us this video of the Presidential caravan as it passes through some Minnesotan town today;

I guess they plan on finding jobs for gas station attendants and mechanics to keep their fleet going. Claymore counted “13 assorted police cruisers, 24 SUV’s of various nomenclature, 2 buses and one giant friggin’ ego.”

I’m surprised if this doesn’t convince Americans that we need to drill here, drill now.

Notice they’re going nowhere near Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. You know, the places where folks have to work in order for the government to give folks in California and NY a socialist lifestyle.

A Critic

I saw Cheney once on the highway in Palo Alto…definitely more cop cars, I don’t recall how many SUVs, no buses, but two ambulances.

He doesn’t like SUV’s. In fact spoke out against them just the other day. Wants them to be gone. Therefore, one would think (I know that’s hard for liberals to do) that the motorcade of *insert description here* would be more environmentally friendly. Oh – I forgot – they don’t have to be good to the environment – they get to tell us what to do and while continuing to fiddle the country down . . .

Good Grief. The country is going to hell in a handbasket, our elected reperestatives went back to their districts to do what? Pray tell. And the CIC is “on the road again” rolling through small town America in big black bus while Allan West tells me in his newsletter we are at DEFCON 1. (From his newsletter) I must begin by clearly stating my greatest concern for America; the absence of leadership. At a time when our country is facing so many monumental issues, America does not have a Captain at the helm of our “Ship of State.” It is unconscionable for me to accept that we, the legislative branch, sit back in our districts or elsewhere, not tending to the critical business of our nation. If we stay on our present schedule, one which I challenged back in December 2010 as being ineffective, the singular constitutional duty of our legislative branch will not be completed; a Fiscal Year 2012 budget. The House has indeed passed a budget and sent it over to the Senate, which has failed to produce a budget in some 830 days, thanks to Senator Harry Reid’s stellar “perceived” leadership. As well, there are 12 appropriations bills, which must be passed through the House and Senate, with conference between the two for resolution, before September 30, 2011. The House has passed only 6 of these appropriations bills over to the Senate, and they have taken up only one. I for one shall be the first to apologize to the American people when you hear the same ole’ words, “continuing resolution or omnibus.” There is no way that by returning to Capitol Hill on September 7th we shall be able to complete the fiscal business of America. Also, I see no need to sit back and not tackle cutting spending in Washington and look for the failed, duplicative, and redundant programs. Our respective oversight committees should do the detailed and meticulous work of looking for these programs. The GAO report from earlier this year already gave us a good start, addressing $200-$300 billion of redundant programs. We… Read more »

Obama’s blacked-out Funeral Bus of Death looks like some sort of coroner wagon for mass casualty incidents. Kind of fitting, since his policies murdered the economy.

I apologize for such a long post and promise I won’t do that again but gosh darn it I’m so fed up with this nonsense and Allan West can say it so much better than I can. I’m not worried about me. I’m worried about all of you that are younger than me, and your children and grandchildren. I don’t want you to lose what was handed to my generation by those that survived a depression and WWII and built a nation second to none.

So now we have an administration that made fun of Palin’s bus tour doing one of their own.

And the name of Obama’s bus? THE DEBT STAR.

NHSparky

Oh, and another cute little tidbit I learned. The bus is made by Prevost–i.e., CANADIAN company.

Way to go there, Barruh. Nice job putting those American back to work, ri-tard.
