Obama Camp Keeping it Classy on Palin Selection

| August 29, 2008

Remember the commercial that John McCain ran last night congratulating Senator Obama on his historic nomination as the Democrat Presidential candidate?

“Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America,” McCain says, looking directly into the camera. “Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations.”

“How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day,” McCain says, referring to the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” address in Washington. “Tomorrow, we’ll be back at it. But tonight senator, job well done.”

If you were stupid enough to expect any class from the Socialists surrounding Barry, you will be disappointed.

For its part, the Obama campaign was dismissive of the selection.

“Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency,” Bill Burton, a spokesman for the Obama campaign, said in a statement.

“Governor Palin shares John McCain’s commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush’s failed economic policies — that’s not the change we need, it’s just more of the same.”

This can only get better.

PS: She calls herself a “hockey mom” which probably seals the deal for Jonn.

He cannot be that fickle, can he? I mean, at least I go for the “Wonder Woman” look. And maybe because I actually know that she can orate without a teleprompter. Ya know, knowing about what she is speaking, being able to answer spontaneous questions, etc…….
Seeing the libs/dems scrambling for derogotory definitions of her speaks well for their grasp on the fact that she, unlike them, is a realist.
,,,,hockey mom,,,,,m’mmmmmmmmm Got a nice ring to it.

What really did it for me was this entry in Wikipedia;

“The Heaths were avid outdoors enthusiasts; Sarah and her father would sometimes wake at 3 a.m. to hunt moose before school”

We haven’t had a moose hunter in the White House since Teddy Roosevelt. But, hockey is good, too.

Great Choice for Mac. So is the BHO camp saying that middle America and small town people can’t run this country. Hmmmmmmm.

I like Palin so far, and I’ve done a bit of digging.

But ya know, she wasn’t a cheerleader – she played varsity basketball. I do kinda wonder if she can be McCain’s cheerleader?

The purported Chinese curse “May you live in interesting times” just got added fuel.

Unbelievable that anybody on the same side as the empty clown suit would knock a candidate for “zero foreign policy experience”. Pot, meet kettle.

Na’gonna hold my breath waiting for the Obamessiah to react with class, based on the words of his spokesman quoted by COB above. Unless maybe a focus group forces him to.

Palin is a Wild Card? HA! Obama is the Joker from the card-deck nobody’s seen yet.

I would like to point out to the Obama crowd that this Lady is the Gov. of the largest state in the Union, and by all reports, has been kicking ass in that position since her election. The only thing Barry has ever run is his mouth.
