Fascist Military Court Gives Bin Laden Driver Sentence
Andy McCarthy gave a fairly good accounting of the morons from the NYT in an article written to counter their Op-Ed that the military courts found this ass-wipe guilty because the McBushitler-Cheney cabal ordered them to.
“Guilty … as ORDERED”?
Naturally, I would never suggest that the New York Times stoops to a predetermined editorial narrative with which it proceeds, and toward which it slants news coverage, without a care in the world about what facts actually happen. But today’s “Guilty as Ordered” rant about the Hamdan military commission trial has to take the cake. The first paragraph is so shamefully dishonest and misrepresentative of reality as to defy one’s necessarily low expectations of the Gray Lady:“Now that was a real nail-biter. The court designed by the White House and its Congressional enablers to guarantee convictions of high-profile detainees in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba — using evidence obtained by torture and secret evidence as desired — has held its first trial. It produced … a guilty verdict.”
Today the military court announced the sentence.
The New York Times will no doubt cover the sentence with as much furor as it did the verdict.
Was it death by hanging? Nope.
Life in GITMO as a training aid for fascist interrogators? Nope.
Forty years of hard labor in a secret government prison? Nope.
Did the evil Nazi military court dream up something more inhuman than we could possibly imagine?
Nope.
Bin Laden’s driver received six months.
Chirp, chirp, chirp.

If this is any consolation, the Slimes stock close today at 12.99, down from 44.53 back on August 8, 2003. They’re sinking into their own slime! 🙂
If the blogs didn’t mention the NYSlimes I would assume they are already dead and buried.
