Please tell me he didn’t get picked to go on. I heard clapping in the background but really this guy wasn’t even average. I don’t watch the show so really I could care less other then if he is going on I want him exposed and would be more then happy to visit all the Idol message boards and sites to help spread the word.

He did his time and is moving on. I don’t see what the big deal is. I personally think Michael Vick’s crime was worse than Travis Bishop’s, and look at him– he’s back in the NFL after doing his time and paying his debt to society.
Ok, Anony in Jax, let’s assume this posture. How many dogs lives lost will Michael Vick be responsible for? Take your time….Now then, how many lives are the anti-war crews responsible for starting with South Vietnam? Add in those lost in Egypt these past days too. 8)

He sucks. Period. I won’t even comment on him being a traitor. I’m just commenting on his lack of vocal ability. He’s singing from his throat, not his diaphragm. He’d never be able to pull off a four hour show on Lower Broadway in Nashville, he’d be so hoarse he wouldn’t be able to talk ninety minutes in. Also, he’s way over the top with the nuances trying to sound like Garth crossed with Michael Jackson. His pitch is decent, though.
Oh yeah, and he’s a traitorous bastard. That won’t win him any fans in the country music world even if he could sing and he ain’t nowhere near the musical talent the Dixie Chicks were.

Nope he didn’t do his “time”…he got to go to jail while someone else risked their life and got deployed..but one can only hope that idiots that don’t keep commitments like this have a special place in hell…Oh Geez, was that harsh? Well considering what some of those war protestor have accused honorable men of doing- Let’s just say “my give a damn is busted.”

Seriously cant find something better to write about than travis bishop singing on american idol…I’m sad for whoever gives money to this.
