The suspect, allegedly armed with a gun, demanded cash but was shot by the armed employee.
Police said the suspect was found wounded inside his vehicle at a nearby gas station.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (FOX 2) – An armed robbery ended in a fatal shooting – but it was the suspect who became the victim on Thursday, Clinton Township police say.

The backstory:
At 12:45 p.m. male suspect armed with a firearm allegedly demanded cash inside Golden Donuts, 34155 Harper Avenue. The employee then pulled out a handgun and shot the robbery suspect.

Police say the suspect, in his mid-30s, fled in a vehicle and was found inside his crashed SUV at the Sunoco gas station at 15 Mile and Harper. He was transported by ambulance where he died at the hospital.

“He was fully cooperative,” said Capt. Brandon Blake, Clinton Township police. “We did an interview with them and we released them from the station, pending further investigation we do believe this to be self-defense.

“Any loss of life is tragic, I’m sure this gentleman had a family to some degree, and the unfortunate part is he lost his life committing a crime that quite frankly put somebody else’s life into jeopardy.”

Let’s all squeak out a tear for the dear departed thug, Cap. Thanks again to our own Gun Bunny for today’s links.

It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood.

In space, no one can hear you say

“Now -thats- a knife.”

Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH Neanderthal

It’s not gonna help the ShitCongo perp’s street/prison creds to find out that he was shot because a Good Samaritan took his own gun away from him. He couldn’t even successfully rob a 68 y.o. granny. Tsk.
Sucks to be the perp, don’it?

Woulda sucked even worse if it hada been the 68 yo granny that took the perp’s gun away from him. Reason #669 why I ALWAYS carry…concealed….every.where.I.go! BZ Citizen!

Gotta be a special kinda teh stoopid to try and rob a donut shop. After all…you never know when the popo is gonna be dropping in. And what kinda hood are you in where a donut shop employee feels the need to be strapped? Oh…wait…he took a lesson from The Gun Bunny’s Book on carrying concealed…every.where.you.go. My supply of tears for the “gentleman”(spits) is as barren as my field of f*cks.

Our Founders would have already challenged the current crop of politicians to a duel…or hanged them by the neck until dead. “We must pass the bill to see what is in it…” I say we tar and feather at least 3 or 4 of them and see what happens.

A very good thing that the May-Shet-Tay is outa stock currently. Tho it is rather spendy at USD 385 I want one…but not to hang on the wall in a display case. I got $, I don’t have a wife! Most of those things you see now-a-days are very flimsy, won’t hold an edge, and wouldn’t chop open a watermelon. ‘sides that…it’s a lucky 17 inches long.

For a useful tool I like the Gerber machete with sawblade back.
Use it in the woods of East Texas often.

ChipNASA

Having worked there for quite some time and willing to bet that RGR 4-78 (?) Who if I’m not mistaken, also works there too, may not be aware that such a thing existed/exists?!?
If there wasn’t a specific prohibition at work for weapons and such, I might order one and have it hung in my office? Although I am sure it has to be an issue item, and there has to be a waiver of such. Maybe I’ll just put a photograph of it in my office. 🤔🔪

Well, I found many of these available for eBay and online and such there’s even a red white and blue 25th anniversary commemorative one with a NASA worm logo ( of which I am absolutely NOT a fan) on it.
Maybe I can purchase one of the framed ones and hang it in my office.

RGR 14-82 worked/s for NASA.

I have several different machetes, most of which I have found, I love to come behind the drunks that leave their s#&t laying about.
