A Russian private military commander calls for Putin’s overthrow

| August 18, 2024

The Ukrainians appear to have launched a summer offensive… In Russia itself. Latest reporting indicates that the Ukrainian military has taken over 400 square miles of Russian territory in Kursk Oblast. Hundreds of Russian soldiers have surrendered in the areas that the Ukrainians captured. The Ukrainians are banking on the Russians to redeploy troops from occupied areas in Ukraine to Kursk, reducing pressure on Ukrainian forces elsewhere. This offensive does not help Vladimir Putin’s or the Russian Army’s standings. To add damage to injury, the commander of a private military company has called for Putin’s removal.

From Express:

Zakrevsky launched a blistering attack on the Russian president during a video in which he blamed all the military failures in Ukraine on Putin personally.

The head of a Russian private militia has called on the army to overthrow Vladimir Putin in what is potentially shaping up to be the biggest threat of revolt the Kremlin has faced since the Wagner mutiny last year.

Georgy Zakrevsky is the founder of the Paladin PMC, one of many shadowy military groups like the former Wagner militia, that are loosely linked to the Kremlin.

The private military company (PMC) has around 300 members and has fought in wars around the world, including in Syria and Africa.

Zakrevsky launched a blistering attack on the Russian president during a video recording in which he blamed all the military failures in Ukraine on Putin personally.

He also went on to accuse Putin of causing all of Russia’s economic and social ills, as he urged the military to rise up and free the country from the tyrant’s rule.

“Our country is not just on the brink of disaster or already right next to it, our country is already in trouble – in big trouble,” he said.

“Drones are flying all over central Russia, right up to Moscow and St. Petersburg. They even attacked the Kremlin.

“Our Black Sea fleet is being pushed out. It’s being pushed out as if we are not a great power with a great fleet, but some third-rate country.

“Our aviation is practically not working because it is also being pushed out. We are standing in the same positions that we took more than two years ago, and partly in those to which we retreated.

So, will this guy die in a ‘plane crash’, or fall out a window, or what??

David

Think Putin will subcontract to the Clinton’s?

Hack Stone

Hillary is awaiting his RSVP for that midnight picnic in Fort Marcy Park. It’s potluck, he’ll bring the borscht, Hillary will bring the potato salad, but only enough for one.

UpNorth

And Hills will also bring a potato masher, either manual or explosive.

ChipNASA

Potato salad and it will have raisins in it. That’s how you know you marked for death.

5JC

I’m guessing at murder suicide. They normally wipe out the whole family and then say the guy did it.

KoB

For his family’s sake, I hope he has his personal affairs in order. Some say that family Dachas in Siberian Gulags are nice this time of year.

To be honest, I’m more concerned about the millions of military aged men that are inside OUR country than I am about the stupidity going on amongst these two places. Who do we believe? Some sources say the RF is steadily grinding the ‘Kranians down…others say the victory for the ‘Kranians is imminent. Other sources say the incursion into RF territory will be cut off and the “invaders” will be ground up in place.

5JC

The probing attacks are up to about one every 2-3 weeks. When they find a weak spot it’s going to make the Ft. Hood shooting look like a church picnic.

Too quick. Something slow, agonizingly painful and gruesome.
Like being tied down and having rats eat your balls.

ChipNASA

Don’t threaten me with a good time!!
Oh wait, I’m not the one trying to off Putin.

Odie

What about being tied down with wet rawhide straps near a fire ant hill in direct sunlight, and then put a camera out so you can live stream it. Kinda like bald eagle watchers do while they watch remotely for the chick’s to hatch.

Do they have betting pools yet on how he’ll “accidentally” die? What are the odds for Plane crash? Traffic accident? “Accidental” fall from a tall building? Who has had more adversaries “accidentally” killed, Putin or the Clintons?

Putin has multiple problems now. The Ukes have blown a key bridge and a petrol/fuel storage facility. And Russia was just hit with a volcanic eruption and a 7.0 earthquake. Looks like Vlad is going to have his hands full.

Odie

Haven’t heard of either of those events, those events being a volcanic eruption or earthquake. The first events, yeah, but not the last 2.

5JC

The volcano/ earthquake is a non-issue. No damage reported and nobody really lives there.

The invasion is a bit more troubling. Zelinski came to the US and got the green light in July for that. The longer they do nothing the bigger the problem becomes. It’s only a real problem if you care about your people and Putin doesn’t, so I guess he is hoping the Ukea will over extend their logistics and fires and then self destruct.
