KSP: 1 dead after alleged Cadiz home intrusion leads to shooting

ADIZ, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man is dead in Trigg County after entering a home armed with a gun in the early hours of Saturday morning.A preliminary investigation showed that a man forced his way into the home and was reportedly armed with a weapon.
The homeowner eventually shot the man, according to authorities. The alleged intruder was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Kentucky State Police Department (KSP), troopers were notified just after midnight on Saturday that a shooting had occurred at a home on Linda Lane in Cadiz.

Hot Springs police investigating Thursday evening shooting

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Detectives with the Hot Springs Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one injured Thursday evening.Officials said that the incident happened at 5:40 p.m. when officers responded to a shots fired call in the 500 block of Crescent Avenue.

Officers said that when they arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was eventually taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.During the investigation, officers discovered that the man had parked his RV on the property of 32-year-old William Deshawn Green, who they said eventually asked him to remove it from the land.
As the two were arguing, police said the man produced a BB gun and Green pulled out a handgun and shot him.

Tell that to the Brotherhood of M-1 thumbs, I told this story a number of times here with a few replies. I was put on the honor guard in the hangerbay for the Flag coming on board which could have been Admiral John McCain Sr. but I forgot and don’t remember seeing the Gator he carried around in a small box since he was COMPHIBRON 3 at the time. We were standing in a line with the M-1 Garands and when inspections arms was ordered, I pulled back the operating rod to lock it and when it was time to release it, I pushed down on the E Clip follower and didn’t pull my thumb out fast enough with the bolt smashing into my thumb lighting up the hanger bay. GM 1 Gunners Mate Smitty walks up to me and says, you now have what is known as an M-1 thumb. Same one who told me that Swift boats wouldn’t be for me when I put in a transfer for the boats. Maybe he was asked to tell me that because they were afraid I would sink one instead of the VC since I was a screw up when I went aboard. Grew up fast and got my MM 3 crow at the end of seperation but missed the pinning. Couple of years in the inactive Navy Reserve. The 2 years in the NYNG 11B20 1975-1977. a number of years ago, TAH had a post of one of the Guard Officers who was in some kind of trouble and I rememberd him. I emailed Jonn a copy of my 214 but the name wasn’t on it.

The other day you replied to me on losing Doo Wopp over the radio when the Brits moved in. Didn’t know if you knew the word DooWopp was coined in the 1970’s and I forgot who coined it. Before it was called that, it was known as vocal group harmony or R&B vocal group harmony.
I didn’t know when that term came into being but was listening to The Mills Brothers and the Ink Spots from infancy.
